Such a disappointment for all the hype and prices: there's a lot of work to do to improve the food here. The intention is clearly there to bring fine dining and original recipes, but so far the food fails to deliver: vey unbalanced dishes with flavours that do not work well together or with completely fade tastes: the eggplant wasn't cooked well enough, plus the caramelized syrup was very sweet for the parmesan cream to be sweet again - such a lack of balance in this dish it made me sad the cooked salada Romana might have been the best dish of the evening. the artichoke was ok, not wowing, usual marinated artichoke with the same parmesan mousse on top that I felt was not balanced again and slightly lousy job. For mains: the halibut was tasteless, those fish eggs looked juat cheap and taste wise fade and shouldn't have been there. The sauce was probably the only ok element there and that helped a bit the dish, but it didn't save the dish. the calamar tentacles were soft but nit fresh, taste was fade and the salad combo with haloumi felt like it could have been beggee for a calamar salad than the best side dish for a warm serving. dumplings/ravioli with potato filling were probably the simplest and the tastiest, or theh at least had flavors. Not sure toping up potato ravioli with fried potato decoration was it, but I'll leave this untouched.
Soooo much work to do on the food side, it's a pity.

The waiter was literally perfect. He knew English and polish (little bit 😁) and his knowledge of menu was astonishing.
We ordered starters, some bits to share, soups, dessert, wine and coffee … and there’s not one thing we would dislike about this place 🤓
Clotted truffle butter is to die for (as well as toasted bread). Eel appetizer is beautiful to look at and even better when eaten 😁 Bean soup and that beef inside is sooo delicate even newborns could eat it 😁 And beef tartar… oooooh my god. Umami, aioli, beef… it all works perfectly together and blends into a astonishing taste of xperience. And brownie with banana? Top notch.
Wine was great, food was great. And all of it for less than 50eur. It’s great value for money. Compliments to the chef, staff and management. You’re doing it great....
Read moreIt was the most unpleasant experience of my life. We sat down for breakfast at 10:30. When they informed us that the table we were sitting at had a reservation for 12:00, we agreed to wait until then, even though the venue was empty apart from our table. We placed our orders, but our friend's order was served immediately. After waiting for 45 minutes for our 2 English breakfasts, we inquired, and the waiter admitted he had forgotten the order. He promised to check with the kitchen and get it prepared. Five minutes later, he returned, informing us that they were out of English breakfast. We settled for a French omelette. To our surprise, the waiter reminded us of the 12:00 reservation just 10 minutes after we received our food, even though the place was still empty, and the reserving customer wasn't present. It was a truly baffling situation. I will definitely not be returning...
