Some cafés serve great coffee. Some have a cozy vibe. And some, like Crème de la Crème, surprise you by doing everything right, with heart.
From the moment I stepped in, it felt less like walking into a café and more like being welcomed into someone’s thoughtfully curated living room. Warm lighting, gentle music, the scent of fresh pastries, it was already a win. But then came Artem.
Now this is where Crème de la Crème raises the bar.
Artem didn’t just offer service, he offered hospitality, the old-school kind that feels personal. He greeted me with a warmth that felt real, not rehearsed. Genuine conversation, perfect timing, always one step ahead without hovering. You could tell he actually cares.
But what sealed the deal? I found myself needing WiFi for an urgent bit of work. The network was full. Without blinking, Artem quietly shared his own personal hotspot, no fuss, just kindness. In a world of “Sorry, we can’t do that,” here’s someone who simply said, “Of course.”
That small act of generosity changed my entire day.
The atmosphere of Crème de la Crème reflects that same energy, soulful, stylish, and utterly unpretentious. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and your coffee doesn’t just wake you up, it soothes you.
So if you’re looking for a café that goes beyond the ordinary, where people like Artem turn caffeine into connection, this is it.
I’ll be back....
Read morestopped by after walking with friends around city center to eat some desserts . Have to mention it was late evening . The waiter said that they were going to close in about 30 min min and he didnt recomend us to stay ( His angry face was saying that) . Well ok we said we just wanted to eat some of your cream cakes and leave quickly . After a short and rough conversation we were seated . Rough service didnt stop at this point . After reviewing the menu we asked a question and for recommendations of that night specialties. “ Do you you think I remember all kind of cupcakes we have here ?” - that was his answer and the next thing he did he offered us go inside the restaurant and check what’s available. Being in good mood and out of curiosity to see end of this story we went inside and chose our selfs a cupcake. We were done in 20 min. After we finished , my friend’s wife took the plates back to the kitchen to help that poor guy to finish his , probably , hard day . Funny thing we saw people were coming after us and were seated in more pleasent manner . I have described this experience in details so that restaurant’s management can see what kind of customer service people face here. reputation builds up for years but can be lost in one single day . Totally...
Read moreI only realized afterwards that the pastry swirl was way too burnt to eat: inedible for me. The waiter with the cute round blue eyes really needs to chill. I had just come off a long journey and quickly asked for the menu because I was starving, and he kind of snubbed me, like I had to greet his majesty first. I mean, I was hangry, but still nice. So no need to be snobby. If you take things that personally when a woman is just asking a question first, maybe it’s not the right job. It’s annoying. This café isn’t even the best I’ve been to, and these people act like they’re in Paris or something. So cringe & wannabe. I mean, the pastry isn’t even that great compared to other cafés around the world to be acting all snobby.
P.S.: It’s kind of ignorant & disrespectful for the owner to dismiss criticism by calling it a “bad day” on the customer’s part, especially when the café’s relatively low-quality products don’t match the simple standards to those of other cafés in real Europe and even Ukraine. Besides that considering the conditions in this country (poverty and neglect) make the café’s attitude feel out of touch with reality of Moldova which can’t even afford to cancel...
