Lazy Crazy — Restaurant in Rîșcani Sector

Had a terrible experience at this restaurant.

We made a table reservation two days ahead and specifically mentioned that we want it at 8PM. We arrive at 8PM, the whole place is a mess, super crowded, people waiting on the stairs inside, very poorly ventilated place, and guess what? The table was not ready.

Waited for 15minutes until we were given a table which was tiny and could probably fit one dish. Apparently they had separated two bigger tables to fit in more customers and forgot about checking if there are enough chairs because guess what? We didn’t have a chair to sit on!

After mentioning it to the incompetent staff who apparently have never worked in the hospitality domain (literally a bunch of fresh high school graduates) they laughed and said there’s nothing they could do and offered to give us one of their chairs that they use behind the counter/kitchen.

We went in there like any other customer ready to pay for overpriced asian food as long as the quality and service is there, ended up walking out and getting nothing instead.

I can’t say anything about their food or dishes because I haven’t tried them, but the service was very unprofessional for a restaurant that recently opened.

Usually new restaurants are supposed to stand out because of their service, but then again, poor hiring decisions were made.

I’m writing to report an extremely serious incident following our lunch at your restaurant yesterday. My girlfriend ordered the ramen, which she wasn’t even able to finish (the portion size was generous, I’ll give you that), and shortly afterward developed severe food poisoning. She ate no other food before or after, so there’s no doubt where this came from. She is now in the hospital with a 38.7 °C fever, debilitating pain, and no relief from medication. This is beyond awful and frankly a major problem, as neither of us has ever experienced anything like this elsewhere.

You must review your food‑preparation and hygiene standards immediately. Poor kitchen practices of this sort can be fatal. If you don’t take this seriously, I’m certain a health authority inspection will soon force your hand.

Despite having enjoyed your restaurant on 4 occasions over the past few months, and genuinely liking the taste and the novelty of dishes we hadn’t encountered back home in Moldova, we will definitely not return until you’ve proven you’ve addressed these critical safety issues.

I will follow up once we have her blood and lab results. If it turns out to be a digestive virus, you’re in serious trouble.
