Review: An Unforgettable Seafood Experience
I recently had the most unforgettable seafood dining experience at a fantastic restaurant, where every single dish celebrated the freshness and flavor of the sea. From start to finish, it was a true feast for the senses.
We began with a delicate fish pâté and a rich, aromatic fish soup—both beautifully prepared. The pâté was smooth and flavorful, paired perfectly with warm bread. The soup was deeply comforting, made from a well-balanced fish stock with just the right depth of herbs and seasoning.
The fish carpaccio with rucola was a standout starter. The thin slices of fish were incredibly fresh and tender, and the peppery rucola added just the right contrast. Finished with a drizzle of olive oil and a touch of citrus, it was as elegant as it was delicious.
A fresh and juicy tomato salad followed, simple and bursting with flavor—proof that great ingredients speak for themselves.
For the main course, we enjoyed a perfect trio of grilled calamari, shrimps, and amberjack. The calamari were tender with a lovely charred edge, the shrimps were succulent and sweet, and the amberjack was outstanding—firm, juicy, and full of flavor.
The black risotto was another highlight: creamy, rich in cuttlefish ink, and deeply savory. It was executed with precision and balance—neither too heavy nor too salty.
Every dish reflected the chef’s skill and respect for top-quality ingredients. If you appreciate seafood done right, this restaurant delivers an experience you won’t forget. I’ll definitely be back—and I’ll be recommending it to every seafood...

We started with the local cheese plate, which came with bread and olives—a great way to begin the meal. For mains, we had the charred octopus and the sea bass with polenta. The octopus was incredible—perfectly cooked with fantastic texture. The polenta dish was less successful; it was dry and crumbly, though the flavorful, well-spiced sauce on top was excellent and helped elevate the dish. The fish itself was on the dry side, but again, the sauce was a highlight. We also ordered a side of vegetables, and when we tried to order a salad, our server kindly suggested we already had enough food—an honesty we appreciated.
The ambiance was quaint and welcoming, with many locals dining alongside us. Paired with local white wines, the meal was a lovely experience overall. We’d recommend it, especially for the warmth of the setting and the...
Read moreYou MUST GO HERE! When we went, the owners said they had only been open 20 days, so it’s very new. It’s run by a family and it felt so homey and had such care put into every detail. The atmosphere is so fun with all of the nautical decorations and foliage, and then the food was incredibly flavorful and creative. Our best meal in Montenegro! My family makes fun of me for never being able to find a good risotto - but I finally found one here!! The cuttlefish risotto! But honestly you can’t go wrong ordering anything on this menu. And the wines we had perfectly complemented the meal. My friend could barely fit in dessert but I made sure we ordered and got a homemade cake by one of their other family members. You must prioritize this...
