ANTIČKA NEKROPOLA je otkrivena prilikom kopanja temelja hotela “Avala” uoči početka II Svetskog rata. Njen stari sloj pripada ilirsko-grčkom periodu i datiran je u VI-IV veka pre nove ere, a gornji pripada grčko-rimskoj epohi (III-I vek pre nove ere).
