My visit to L&M in Budva was nothing short of spectacular, earning a well-deserved 5 out of 5 from me. Nestled close to the city center and shopping areas, L&M may not be the largest venue, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in character and authenticity. The reason for my high praise? L&M delivers a genuine Montenegrin culinary experience with a very good price, which is exactly what I seek when traveling. Why indulge in foreign cuisines like Italian pizza or Chinese wok when you can immerse yourself in the local flavors? L&M nails this with their Montenegrin offerings, especially their side dishes, which are a must-try. The value for money here is unparalleled – imagine enjoying a kilogram of a delightful seafood platter for only 35 euros. Quality at these prices is rare, making L&M a hidden gem in Montenegro. The food quality was exceptional, not just in taste but also in presentation. The staff added to the experience; the waitress was incredibly friendly, and the owner took the time to serve us personally, which added a special touch. There were no hidden charges, no couvert fees, just straightforward pricing for extraordinary food.If you're looking for an authentic Montenegrin experience without the fear of being overcharged, L&M is the place to be. It stands out as the best restaurant I've visited in Montenegro in terms of the price-quality ratio. It's not just a meal; it's a local experience with its own unique charm. I wholeheartedly recommend L&M to anyone wanting to enjoy traditional Montenegrin cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere with...
Read moreAs a Tunisian chef and a true fan of seafood and fish, I have had the chance to travel and dine in many places around the world, including France, Italy, and Croatia. I’m quite particular when it comes to seafood, but during my recent trip to Budva, Montenegro, I was completely amazed by the food at L&M Lazo Milano.
I visited this establishment with two friends, both of whom have worked in gastronomy, and we were all blown away by the quality of the food. The restaurant has a solid 4.6 rating on Google, and it did not disappoint. We started with an outstanding fish soup, served with an elegant service à la russe (or service au guéridon). Following that, we enjoyed a grilled mix of fish and seafood, and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious.
What made the experience even more memorable was not just the food, but the atmosphere. It felt like stepping into another time, with decor and ambiance that transported us to a different era. It wasn’t just a culinary journey but a travel experience through both space and time.
I highly recommend L&M Lazo Milano to anyone visiting Budva. It’s a must-visit destination for food lovers, and on top of that, the prices were very reasonable. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making our...
Read moreIncredibly delicious food. Can’t complain about that. Also the prices are so affordable However we experienced two totally different experiences with this place in just two days. First time we came here on Thursday evening it was the best experience possible. It was almost as if we were the only guests in the restaurant (it was pretty full) yet we received a private treatment. The staff were laughing, brining us extra olive, extra sauces etc. so nice and polite the whole evening. Unfortunately we experienced 180 degree change the next evening when we came back. The restaurant was again packed and we could the owners were in a rush and didn’t really pay attention to new customers walking in. We took a seat ourselves and waited really long to place an order. When the food came, one of the owner just threw all the plates on our tables, without saying anything, he looked very tired (understandable) but also very mean. At the end when paying , he threw the bill at the table without even saying goodbye back. Terrible service However food 100/10, can’t say anything bad...
