The Old Town Viewpoint Apartments — Local services in Budva

Stayed here for a week, in an apartment with a small balcony overlooking the old town. This apartment complex has a lot of potential, but it needs a little work with small details (lack of ceiling light dome, cracked glass, shower head that does not work properly and stains on the sheets). The biggest problem with the apartment is the bath and cleanliness! Because of that, I would not recommend the apartment to anyone.

When we arrived at the apartment everything looked good at a first glance. But when you start to see properly and turned on the lights it is something else entirely. There was dust and trash left under the bed. Around the corners you can see small stones / dirt. The bath smells bad, here is dirt in every corner, on the surfaces you can see chalk, silver surfaces completely white of lime (chalk). When you wet the shower floor it became slippery and you could feel how it was a thick layer of leftover soap under the feet. In the toilet note that it is disinfected but when you look at the edges, there was dust, dirt, pink detergent and the edge where the water flushes were completely black.

We complained about this. First, we were told that what we were saying is not true, that the person we spoke to checked it here self and everything looked good. After we showed here picture evidence, she told us how difficult it is to get proper cleaning staff. After long explanations, we finally get them to clean the apartment again. But what happened was that the shower floor was washed, and everything else was as before. I ended up cleaning everything in the bath myself. Shining clean after that. The problem afterwards was that the shower was full of drain / moth worms, extremely disgusting.

If you look away from the cleanliness the apartment was ok. The lady who greeted us when we arrived was very nice and helpful. She was flexible when we arrived outside check-in time (we missed the bus from Dubrovnik). We got clean towels every day and the maid took out the garbage at the same time. We managed to get the curtain rod off the roof by mistake, the owners quickly fixed the problem. The view from the apartment is nice. The location is also very good, within 1 km radius you have grocery store, old village and beach. For that they...

To begin with, the hotel fully lives up to its name. The view of the old town from the hotel is really wonderful. I was a bit disappointed when I was told that my apartment was on the -1 floor, but even from there the view was amazing. The location of the hotel is great; it takes about 8 minutes to walk to the old town and 10 minutes to the beach. The room has everything you need for a long-term stay. The only thing that initially upset me, and then amused me, is that next to the light switches in the room and bathroom, there is also a switch for the water heater. On the first day, when I left the room, I turned off everything without really understanding what was what. In the evening, I discovered that I had no hot water. It was only in the morning that I figured out how it worked. I would recommend the hotel add this information to the memo. By the way, no matter how hard I tried, I always ended up with a terrible flood in the bathroom. But considering that there is a separate drain for all this water, apparently it is designed that way, which is strange. But in general, the hotel is...
