We saw the great rating and had to try it, but were extremely disappointed. We ordered to take away at 12.35 and were told 10-15 minutes. The food arrived at 1.15. If we were told 40 minutes, no problem. We ordered a soy steak and chips as another option on the menu wasn't available. We wanted a salad but they only had one of there four or so salads available. The food arrived and it was a fried vegetable patty and some unsalted chips. There was no offer offer of condiments but luckily there were some sauces on a past customers tray that we managed to use otherwise the meal would be completely bland. There was no offer of takeaway cutlery to eat our food, which wasn't ideal for a salad. I'm sure there are some fantastic foods from this place, but this certainly wasn't a good experience to prove that for us. Not giving it a 1 star as I understand this can be damaging...
Read moreBest chicken gyros in Budva! (For the French people who’ve had Kebab/Grecque in Paris the 2000-2010s, that will take you back in time👌). The Crepe/Pancake is nice, the lemonade is great (⚠️ lemonade in Montenegro is pure lemon juice, so don’t expect anything sweet or fizzy). The family who owns the restaurant is very nice and treats customers well! They accept card (which is a good plus), great value for money (drinks and gyros are at a very good price compared to a lot of other places in the country). Beware of the queue if you go there past 7PM as this is a neighbourhood...
Read moreWhat an amazing little lunch time spot and ridiculously cheap. It’s a little off the beaten path but there’s street parking and it’s not too far from the main tourist places of Budva. We found the venue from trip advisor and so glad we did. The lady serving is really sweet and makes it all by hand. serves all sorts: sandwiches, gyros, chicken & chips all at around €3.50 each! There’s only limited seating outside but the turnover is quite quick and lots of people opt for take away instead. Loved it. Would return every lunchtime...
