The restaurant looks absolutely beautiful — such a lovely blue interior with lights and lanterns everywhere. I would easily give 5+ stars for the atmosphere alone. But unfortunately, everything else was very disappointing. When we arrived in the evening, no one paid attention to us for about ten minutes. We had to wave several times before a waiter finally noticed us. He seemed surprised when we asked for the menu. Many dishes from the menu were not available, and we had to change our order several times. When we finally ordered, it took about 25 minutes for the food to arrive. I understand it was a busy evening, but it still felt too long. When they brought the cutlery, they only gave it to the adults, even though we had ordered food for a child as well. I had to ask for a fork and knife for my daughter, and the waiter just handed them to me in his hand — not on a napkin or plate. There was no salt, pepper, or napkins on the table, and nobody ever offered any.

I had paella — it was okay, with plenty of seafood, but honestly it tasted more like rice porridge with seafood than real paella. The pizza was fine, nothing special. My daughter’s Nutella crêpes were disappointing — they were covered in way too much Nutella, and the pancakes themselves didn’t taste fresh, more like reheated from the day before. Drinks also took a long time to arrive, while other tables who came later were served much faster. When we asked for the bill, no one brought it, and we had to go to the counter to pay before leaving. Overall, the service was extremely slow and inattentive. Nobody came to check on us even once. I left really disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good meal — maybe just go there for a drink and enjoy the atmosphere, but definitely...

What a shameful 10 minute experience I had at this place. When I arrived the waiter told me to sit inside, I told him I wanted outside to see the sunset, but he was persistent and said outside I couldn’t drink alcohol. I said it was fine and headed outside. After some minutes he was attending other tables and a couple arrived which he started to attend first than me and served one of them a beer, I noticed that all around people were drinking alcohol, by my side there was a table Of three with a bottle of wine. After the waiter served the newly arrived couple before even taking my order, he came to me said sorry for the delay. I asked why he didn’t want to serve me alcohol if everyone else was drinking alcoholic beverages and he sai “is hard to explain, they are French”, he then said if I went inside I would get a good service, after hearing this I told him no thanks, that I wouldn’t stay in his sh… restaurant with his sh… service and left. I have never been in a situation like this, I have been to more than 30 countries in the world and have eaten in better restaurants and never had this kind of treatment. Mediocre at it’s best. Seemed to me this restaurant just doesn’t care anymore. We had high hopes for this restaurant, as its by the Beach and with so many good reviews. Sadly we were disappointed. It’s true that it was by the beach, but you can’t see the beach at all. It was cold outside even with some heaters on, we went inside, it was even colder. The food took forever to come, and we where the only ones that ordered food, there were 4 tables at the time. We ordered two juice, and orange tastes like a orange juice and a kiwi juice that was probably the best juice I ever tasted (thanks to plenty of sugar) and we ordered two main dishes, my wife a fish called sea something, that was incredibly good and tasty, Soft in the inside and crunchy on the out side. And I ordered a mix of fishes thinking ohh I get to taste different fishes. But that where all deep fried, with no taste but deep fry oil. The check took also for ever to come, had to ask twice, and the waiters while some are smiling but not all, EXPECT a tip, seemed wired to me when we are in Marroko, and not in that a fancy restaurant.
