As a Korean woman born and raised on an island with strong Japanese influence, as someone who has traveled across Asia tasting all kinds of seafood and a person from a place who had from fresh daily catches to six different species of salmon on one table — I can recognize fresh fish at first glance.
Tonight, my husband, our niece, and I visited this Asian restaurant. A kind waiter quickly found us a table on the terrace, where the cool evening air felt just right. Service was decent, welcoming, and attentive. We placed our order, and about 35 minutes later our food arrived: a salmon box, salmon-avocado rolls, and another shrimp-avocado-salmon roll I can’t quite recall the name of.
The sashimi was outstanding — tender, melt-in-your-mouth, and most importantly, unmistakably fresh. You could even see the fine layers of fat. The avocado was perfectly ripe, creamy, and flavorful. The rice was cooked and seasoned just right — lightly vinegared and subtly sweet, following the classic recipe.
Honestly, the quality exceeded my expectations. While I might normally rate 4/5 when comparing to the sushi I grew up with, here I’d confidently say 5/5 — we were on cloud nine.
The total was around 340 MAD, which, as my Moroccan husband explained, isn’t typical for locals. We didn’t order alcoholic drinks, just juices, water, and tea by the cup. At the end, we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary ginger tea and a dessert for our child — a lovely gesture.
Highly recommend if you appreciate authentic freshness and a well-prepared...
Read moreAfter exploring several Asian restaurants, I am thrilled to have discovered my new culinary favorite: Asie’tte. This was my second visit, and I can already confidently say that it has become my go-to spot for indulging in exceptional sushi.
The warm and welcoming ambiance of Asie’tte sets the perfect stage for a memorable dining experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the attentive and friendly service from the staff. They were always ready to answer my questions and recommend dishes, adding a personal touch to my meal.
As for the food, every bite was a burst of exquisite flavors. The sushi was incredibly fresh and artistically presented, a testament to the chefs' passion and expertise. I also had the chance to sample other Asian cuisine dishes that were equally delightful.
I want to express my gratitude to Jalal for his insightful recommendation. His suggestion led me to discover a hidden gem in the culinary scene. I am eagerly looking forward to returning to Asie’tte to savor these culinary delights once again. Read moreHad dinner here on a Tuesday night and they were neither too busy nor very quite.
The decor of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the place has been very well maintained.
We were promptly showed to the table by M. Abdou. He took care of us all evening and his service was flawless.
We ordered Crevettes Bang Bang, Poulet Karaage and Tempura legumes for starters. Loved the tempura, but the poulet and Crevettes were ok. One suggestion i would like to make is to serve the sauce separate and not smear it on top. The cocktail sauce spoiled the Crevettes for me.
For mains we ordered a plate of Katsu curry, Crevettes noodles, Chicken fried rice, Thai red curry and Thai green curry.
The katsu was really crispy, as it should be. The noodles was kinda average. The rice was smashingly good, the red and green curry were awful. I can bet my life on the fact that they were made from ready made curry paste that you can buy in any oriental supermarket. They would just not pass the grade either in Thailand or in London, where i am from.
To conclude, overall an excellent experience though the food could have been better. Excellent value for money. Good job...
