Well I’m going to start with the food. I ordered a fish cake or whatever it was. Just didn’t taste that good. I think it was because it was cold and it didn’t have any salt. After that I also ordered a bottle of sparking water. This is the part I change to the service. The staff where nice and everything but they didn’t speak that much English so I advice everyone reading this that if you want to go to this restaurant, please learn a bit of French or Arabic. Well at least, we told the guy we wanted some sparkling water and he said he knew what we meant but still got us still water. I also ordered a caramel cake and that wasn’t a caramel cake, that was an ice cake honestly. I wasn’t even able to cut it with a knife. But at least the staff got us another cake that wasn’t iced. But the things I really liked abou the ambience was the Halloween decoration. It looked so nice and spooky.

Update **Je rappelle, je voulais reparler au gestionnaire pour demander de ne plus envoyer les 4 morceaux, je ne voulais plus manger, c’est du gaspillage. Elle me dit non, qu’elle ne me le passera pas. Cette personne a sérieusement besoin de formation.** Une déception, mais au final une moyenne satisfaction. Je suis habituée à chaque vacances à Casablanca de commander chez eux. Au début, la livraison était faite par eux, toujours satisfaite. Et puis j'appelle aujourd'hui, on me dit de faire la livraison par Glovo, c’est parfait, je le fais. J'appelle pour mentionner que je l’ai fait, mais je n’ai pas trouvé où mettre le commentaire pour les allergies. On prend le tout en note, que je suis allergique au surimi. Surprise à la réception : mes California ont du surimi. J'appelle en parlant avec la personne qui a pris en note mon commentaire (elle m’a dit que son nom est Aya, chose que je ne suis pas certaine), elle me dit que le cuisinier mentionne qu’il n’a pas mis de surimi. Confuse — je ne suis pas aveugle, je le vois. Mon dîner est ruiné, je reste sans nourriture. Et là, elle me dit de contacter Glovo. Hein ? Pourquoi ? Après longue discussion, elle me sort (c’est bon madame dakchi li kine galtou lik). Hein ? Heureusement qu’elle n’a pas raccroché. J’ai demandé à parler à un gestionnaire. Première fois, elle me dit qu’elle est seule, puis un gestionnaire me parle. (Et je vais juste peut-être recommander e juste pour cette dernière discussion.) Il m’explique pourquoi elle m’a demandé de contacter Glovo, puis il finit par me dire qu’il va me les envoyer. Certes, j’aurais aimé avoir cette discussion dès le début et ne pas me casser la tête à expliquer quelque chose pour un simple souper.

The food is exquisite and the staff are the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I have a number of seafood allergies and they were made changes to the menus to make my experience safe and enjoyable. The salad was unbelievable fresh and crunchy, and the sushi was no different. Prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality of food you get.

We went to this place because we were just craving for some Japanese food. Okay, it’s off season and I understand that. The restaurant was empty and we walked towards the cashier because no one bothered to greet us. There was a lady and 2 guys working. They were on their phones.

We had to find the menu ourselves. One guy gave it and he went back on his phone. It’s like come on, we’re the only customers who actually showed up. Maybe we needed some attention! Duh?! So we walked away. No one explained the menu, no one greeted us and of course, they don’t deserve our money.

To the owner, you seriously need to take a look with your staff. Terrible service always creates a memorable experience that...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sumo in Maarif, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh and flavorful ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the royal soup 🍲 What truly made the evening special was the outstanding service provided by Khawla and Ferdaws. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and efficient.
