My two cents:
ATMOSPHERE/DECO/MUSIC: Rustic chic, elegant and minimalist. Real cool vibes, got my hopes and expectations high. Good Argentinian music throughout, could have been played a little less loud.
SERVICE: It is started up well. Very friendly waiters and staff. Then, while having a smoke at the bar with friends after finishing our starters, the restaurant owner/chef pulls one of his waiters and started degrading him in front of us: "I am the boss here when I ask you to come over...". All in all, very unpleasant and a total lack of respect of one's clientele.
FOOD: Our meat orders came in not cooked as expected, more on the raw side... Out of 8 steaks served on our table, 6 had to go again to kitchen. Sides (mash potatoes etc.) were provided cold. We asked for a replacement which took another 15 minutes, and guess what they were cold again. Frustrating to say the least... Meat sauces' were missing and we had to ask several times to get them... All in all, staff seemed lost with the level of attendance.
We have complained to the owner. He played ball, listened and offered us free deserts (though added in our bill by mistake, another sign of the lack of coordination).
Last but not least, woke up the next morning with an upset stomach...
So all in all, place got potential, food not worth the money u pay... overall,...
Read moreWe were a group of 6 friends and were impressed with the selection of aged meat. We had ordered the burata salad which was delicious and the grilled chicken tandoori skewers were also good. The next item was 2 plates of beef tenderloin which we wanted medium but was cooked almost well done which we didn’t enjoy that much and the last dish was the 1 kg beef (don’t remember what part it was) but it wasn’t cooked to our liking. In the end manager did listen to our complains and offered a complimentary dish....
Read moreNot good. Ordered a medium rare Entrecôte, it was basically well done. I left half of the stake and no one even ask if everything was OK. Not expensive, I believe the quality of the raw materials are good, but the technique used to cook that beef was just wrong! If in the kitchen you cannot control constantly the quality of the dishes either you change the guy in charge or you review the technique used! This stake look and tastes like boliled! Like an electric...
