Food was really good. It really felt like an authentic Spanish restaurant. We enjoyed the tapas sampler. I have to say that this is SUPER filling for 2 people. We definitely could’ve added 2 more people to join in. We also ordered a couple of drinks, one was the virgin mojito which my husband loved. I like my lemons a little more tangy/sour and this was more sweet. I got the ginger naranja I believe it’s called and this was super refreshing. We couldn’t get to the paella because we were too full after the tapas, so we took it to go. It looked really good and they brought it out for us to look at. When paying, they give candy along with the receipt which is a cool gesture.
We were seated quickly, and it was getting busier. A few things I didn’t like were the bread plate served at the beginning. Morocco is known for its amazing bread and this fell short. It tasted old and hard. Not a great beginning. Secondly, the server took FOREVER to take our order. We asked for a few minutes then we had to chase him down as he was giving the menu to a different table. Not cool especially when you’re going to imo a higher end spot since these were not Morocco prices keep that in mind. Therefore, service should’ve been top priority. I’m a New Yorker so maybe my expectations were too high because I’m used to being served at a very fast pace. I do think it was overpriced for what you’re getting especially the Coca Cola lol. Why is it 35-40 mad when I can get it cheaper outside on the street? That was a stretch!
I liked the decor, vibe inside the restaurant, and the booths were comfortable. Deff...
Read moreVery disappointing dining experience. No welcoming or greeting as no host was there (as it should) for a restaurant that brand itself on the mid-high end. Just push the door and self-seat yourself obviously. The food was below average and definitely way overpriced. The shared starters (tapas) are not not tasty (would not recommend) but okeysh. The Alfredo was a bit salty for our taste and spices were on the heavy side, but decent though. The bolognese was blend and dry, lacking the sauce that uplifts the whole classic dish. The pizza Margherita, a basic of Italian cuisine, was just horrible ! Could not have more than a bite of it as it was loathful, the sauce is industrial and tastes like low quality Ketchup, the mozzarella was the grated industrial one as well. Not a single highlight for this disastrous dish. Service wise, it was fine at first but as time goes by the waiters got completely busier and we had to wait till the pasta got cold to have that sprinkle of the Parmesan and new cutlery. No need to say that this leads to no desserts or whatsoever after the very rocky experience. Same goes for the check, staff was all over the place so we checked ourselves out. NB: It was unbearably noisy, some customers with no respect to others. Unfortunately even the vibe...
Read moreThis was the worst experience of my whole Tangier trip here. From the beginning we were neglected and ignored to the point where we had to ask for menus and for our orders to be taken. We were the only tourists in the restaurant and looked visibly different than the other service users - it’s clear this may have been a race issue. When the food came, which was an hour wait, it was cold and didn’t even taste nice. We left within 5 minutes of receiving our food and couldn’t bare to eat anymore. I was so upset with the treatment that I actually wanted to go directly to the manager called Anas. He was rude, disrespectful and did not care for our concerns. We was responded with rudeness and attitude and didn’t even apologise once for how we treated here. This was the worst example of customer service I have ever received! Please, particularly tourist, think very carefully before coming to this restaurant. Trust me it’s not even worth it and the singing wasn’t even that fun - the waiters looked forced to do it and didn’t even have the energy to do so. Unfortunately, 0 stars aren’t available so I had to put 1 star - even though it wasn’t...
