Snack Pizzeria Moha — Restaurant in Chefchaouen

Not what an American (or an Italian!) will think of as "proper pizza," but here at Pizzeria Moha, they make it well. Generous with the toppings, for sure! Each pizza is basically a pile of toppings on thin-crust pizza dough, held together by a minimal amount of cheese. Both the minimal cheese and the minimal pizza dough are good-quality, and at least on the two pizzas I ordered, the toppings were excellent.

I had the poulet (chicken) pizza, which seems to be a standard among Moroccan pizzerias: the herbed and chopped chicken was quite good, tender and moist, mixed with olives and green peppers, although I would have added a bit of spice to it if I could: a sprinkling of lemon pepper, or cilantro, or any kind of seasoned salt would have made it perfect. But less Moroccan, I suppose.

I also had the "Four Seasons pizza" (actual listing was in French of course) and that was amazing. The toppings-pile was twice the height of the poulet pizza, perhaps two inches tall, a delightful jumble of fresh shrimp, sliced tomatoes, shreds of imitation crab meat, grilled onion, and other things (no potato, thankfully).

The wait wasn't long, perhaps fifteen or twenty minutes, and I watched the ingredients being made fresh from scratch. The chicken-chopping was especially fun: it is not done with knives, that's all I'll say. And the chicken is already cooked and de-boned when it begins. Come watch it happen for yourself! And the prices were very good: about $2.75 to $3.25 (USD) for a medium-sized pizza.

Perhaps most importantly, this place was super busy, fulfilling orders for a steady stream of locals and tourists alike. The pizzeria up the street was happy to have a few customers to wait on. Do the popularity...

I purchase two Panini‘s with barbecue sauce and Andaluz and I told them too many times to make the sauce for me because they are takeaway and I’m not going to eat them in the restaurant but my Panini had no sauce I don’t suggest to buy from this restaurants they take 30 minutes to make them And the result is like a Panini with no sauce is like eating a French fries...

Great value Western food. Have had enough tangine and bbq lamb/beef/chicken for 10 days so go for some local take Western food. Their pizza have good crust and generous topping. Just dun expect it as authentic. It is valid for money and staff are friendly and can...
