I ordered at least 7 dishes from you, some were really good, were really oily or too spicy.
I am not here to comment on the food, I am here to leave my feedback about 2 things :
1- I came to your restaurant twice, and I noticed that I am getting overcharged. Example : if I order 4 items, I find 4 items on the bil, but the items are written in chinese, and the prices are higher than what's on the menu.
It happened to me yesterday and today.
Yesterday, I noticed something weird about the price of the bill it was higher than what I expected it, I didn't say anything, the girl in red who serves noticed I noticed and told me that I have 4 items on the bill which proves my point, yes I ordered 4 but the prices were not the same.
Today, she jumped on me once I arrived and tried to get me to buy as many dishes as possible!! The guy gave me the bill today, he was acting so strange.
I paid the owner, but the bill was handed to me by the guy. I am pretty sure it's the workers, not the owner.
2- the girl in red has a quite strange attitude!! She acts bossy in a weird way. When I first arrived I felt pressured to order right away l, I said I am not ready, when I was I told her I am ready now, she ignored me completely.
Whenever I want to ask for something she looks away when i was the only one at the restaurant 😂😂 she did it many many times, I felt like she wanted to attack me for calling her !! she has this strange energy of wanting to control the restaurant. Heard some guys telling her that she is the boss now!! During my visits, there were some Moroccan people with their children there, I believe her guests.. they come very near my table...
Read moreMuch like other reviews I’ve read, my partner and I ventured to this establishment after almost a month of Moroccan food and in need of a change of scenery and some bold flavors, la petite Chengdu was our choice. We entered around 8pm to an all but empty restaurant and were seated at a table. After a read of the extensive menu we ordered veg spring rolls, prawn dumplings, chilli twice fried beef & braised chilli/garlic eggplant. The food began arriving no less than 5 minutes after ordering. The beef and eggplant dishes were fantastic, spicy hot and salty, exactly what we were craving and as far as I’m concerned they tasted like authentic Szechuan food. The spring rolls ticked the box without knocking our socks off but we were let down by the prawn dumplings… coming out well after everything else and with a strange dry and bland filling I was left yearning for a softer more fruitful dumpling. Disappointing yes, but I’m a forgiving man and left with a full belly. Hey, 3 out of 4 dishes isn’t bad.
Also Definetely one of the more expensive meals I’ve had in Morocco. Give it a crack, just don’t get the...
Read morefrom XiaoHongShu. As a Chinese diner, I was initially very excited, but the experience turned out to be disappointing.
Here’s what we ordered: • 口水雞 (Spicy Chicken): Not recommended. • 蔥油雞 (Scallion Oil Chicken): Decent flavor, reminiscent of a homemade dish. • 揚州炒飯 (Fried Rice): The rice seemed locally sourced, resulting in a chewy texture and rather bland taste. • 土豆絲 (Shredded Potato): Overly salty. After mentioning it to the waiter, they provided a replacement that was slightly better. • Prawn Dumplings: Surprisingly, shockingly poor. We expected frozen quality, like those from Chinese supermarkets, but it was worse—the skin was thick, and the shrimp inside was tiny (more like dried shrimp 蝦米仔). • 水煮牛肉 (Boiled Beef in Chili Oil): This dish felt more like boiled beef in red oil than an authentic spicy beef dish.
While I genuinely want to support Chinese restaurants abroad and understand the limited options, you’re likely better off trying the local cuisine. The only positive was the complimentary fruit...
