Place El Haouta is a charming spot in Chefchaouen that I visited in the evening. This very old place is surrounded by beautifully maintained buildings, all painted in the iconic blue that the city is famous for. It’s incredibly picturesque, offering countless photo opportunities at every turn. We ordered the eggs breakfast (2 fried eggs, orange juice, chocolate milk). The eggs were swimming in oil. The olives tasted off. The glasses weren't clean. Worst meal in Morocco so far. We had to wait 40 minutes for it to arrive, the place wasn't even busy. At least the view from our chairs was pretty.

We chanced upon this magical little square whee locals come here to get water from the still functioning fountain. We saw little boys playing with their makeshift toys. A living heritage space to be share with both locals and tourists. We love this place!

Belle place loin de l'effervescence touristique avec son petit café traditionnel, pas trop fréquenté des touristes Je conseille un thé traditionnel exceptionnel fait par un jeune homme sur la place avec l'eau de la fontaine et pas chère mais qui est meilleur que les thés a 20dhrs que l'ont trouve ailleurs Un petit vendeur de souvenirs est sur la place moins chère je trouve que d'autres dans les coins plus fréquenté Les gens du quartier qui fréquentent la place sont agréablement gentils et accueillants Très bon souvenir nous nous y sommes arrêtés une petite heure et demi avec les enfants et nous avons vraiment ressenti le charme des lieux et la tranquillité de la place Faites-y un tour prenez un thé et profitez

This is the second and most prettiest square in Chefchaouen. Lots of restaurant and old buildings around the square. Mountain view from the squares is surprisingly pleasant. And lots of cats wondering here all day!
