Initially a little dubious about Asian food cooked by Moroccans, I bit the bullet and gave it a chance due to the favourable reviews I had read. Tom yum gung soup to start and it was vile. It tasted old and off, as if an old library book had been dissolving in it. I left it uneaten apart from the 2 miniscule prawns in it. My maths worked out that I paid £2 a prawn (no it wasn't deducted from the final bill). For main course I opted for fried rice with chicken. I asked for extra chicken. The rice was OK, a little undercooked but edible. There were a few pieces of chicken about the size of petit pois in the dish but quite frankly there was more meat on Peter Sutcliffe's hammer. Very poor experience, I won't be returning to this...
Read moreSuper easy to find and very welcoming. Everything is prepared fresh to order, and nicely presented. I had three courses as I hadn’t eaten for 24hours. The prawn spring rolls were quite good, but rather lacking in prawns. Finally I had prawn and lychee noodles. They’re noodles. With ten good sized prawns and six tinned lychees. I’m not sure wot I was expecting, but I wasn’t overjoyed with this dish. It was OK. with a large bottle of fizzy water my bill came to 225MD. Which isn’t cheap by...

I came there twice during my stay in Essaouira. The first time I ordered a wok with pepper, beef, mushroom and rice. It was pretty good. Rice was a little bit dry, compared to the rice I usually eat in my country. The wok was seasoned well. On second time, I had the stir-fried noodle with vegetables. Vegetables were very fresh since I ate at 11.40 am. The cook made the food in front of you and the process looks hygienic. There are only few seats but you...
