Don't need to eat here if you care about tasting authentic Moroccan food.
We ordered pastilla royal and a set menu that includes app of 4 salad of choice, a tagine, and a dessert or drink, I ordered beef with plum and almond.
The 4 salad selection was delicious, but then things went downhill. The main courses took over an hour of waiting, the food initially looks good, but we noticed that the tagine dish wasnt hot. Upon forking through the food to find the beef, we realized the beef tagine was mostly caramelized onion with 1 and a half chunk of meat, very small meat portion. When I picked the meat up, the meat was pale in color, did not look like it was cooked in the tagine with sauce. The flavor was very salty, not of good quality, none of the balance of sweet and savory flavor this dish usually has.
The pastilla royal was cold on the inside. I was excited for this, but the food was cold! The waitress hurried to get it warmed up, but the crust came back soft and limp, probably was heated in the microwave. The flavor was also on the saltier side.

Read moreThe portions and plates are so small. The bastille was burnt. I ordered briwat, they gave us two briwats and two small cigars. Being a Moroccan, I know the chef’s grand mother would be so ashamed of him. Also, I was so surprised by a dish called Jewish Tagine. No explanation of what and how the tagine is made, just the tagine’s religion. They gave my son a piece of bone instead of beef. After I payed the bill, I mentioned to the server who told the owner. The owner didn’t even acknowledge us. All we got is a dirty look. The servers were sitting next to us playing on their phones. The owner should find a different line of work because food industry is not for him. The only thing I give him, he hired a good architect and designer because the place looked really nice. Too bad AC was...
