Expensive food, slow service and improvable treatment. The food is expensive for where it is (outside the medina near a residential neighborhood) and compared to other places. In addition, we asked for a mineral water and they opened it for us at the table, directly, sparkling water (and to make matters worse, hot). We told them the mistake, they took the glasses and put the bottle away (but didn't take it away, which made us suspicious) and brought us mineral water. However, in the account they also charged us for sparkling water, which was their mistake (mineral water friend is not sparkling water,, it doesn't sound like it). Despite telling them and waiting for them to rectify the bill, they refused to take away the damn sparkling water, blaming us for opening the bottle (which the waiter opened and served). Very unpleasant the whole situation. It was only €2 and we really wouldn't have minded paying it, but his attitude was quite reprehensible.

Comida cara, servicio lento y trato mejorable. La comida es cara para estar donde está (fuera de la medina cerca de un barrio residencial) y en comparación con otros sitios. Además, pedimos un agua mineral y nos abrieron en la mesa, directamente, agua con gas (y para más inri, caliente). Les dijimos el error, retiraron los vasos y apartaron la botella (pero no se la llevaron, lo que nos hizo sospechar) y nos trajeron agua mineral. Sin embargo, en la cuenta nos cobraron también el agua con gas que fue error suyo (mineral water amigo no es sparkling water, de toda la vida de Dios, no suena ni parecido). A pesar de decírselo y esperar que rectificara la cuenta, se negaron a quitarnos el dichoso agua con gas, echandonos a nosotros la culpa de abrir la botella (que abrió y sirvió el camarero). Muy desagradable toda la situación. Fueron solo 2€ y realmente nos hubiera dado igual pagarlo, pero su actitud fue bastante...

Beware of sneaky upgrades. The food was delicious but the waitress obviously identified us as non-moroccan and upgraded all our dishes without asking (to Royale rather than normal as we asked). We didn't realise the distinction because the typical dishes are served differently in different restaurants. It wasn't until the bill came that we realised the mistake and it was 50% more than expected. They wouldn't accept that its not what we'd asked for and we had to pay.
