Had a near-death experience at this food place. Told the waiter we were allergic to nuts. He said he understood. However when we got out food I could taste nuts. My lips were itchy and my throat was closing up same for my little sister. She was unwell within seconds. As a result of nuts in The food or contamination. The manager was so rude to us didn't offer any help or call an ambulance to save her life. Instead stood putting the receipt in our face while we were trying to save her life. No apology was given to us. Nut allergy is very severe and can lead to death. The only people who called an ambulance for us were this family sitting inside thanks to them my sister is alive. As a restaurant you should know how severe an allergy is. It is not important about the bill but how you could have called an ambulance. We have confirmation this was a nut allergy as a result of the food. I would avoid if you are a tourist or have any allergy as this resteraunt only cares about money and there reputation over the health of their customers. We have had to pay for care to save my sisters life. No apology was given to us shows me how their service is. Please avoid. I'm so angry and annoyed they let this happen to my sister and didn't call the ambulance. I would be leaving with my sister Dead thanks to them not helping. As someone visting I have never been so disgusted of their service. The manager can speak to me I'm waiting for some apology and I have proof this was a nut allergy. And will be instructing my solicitors

Booked this restaurant for my mums 50th birthday as it had some very good reviews online however do not let this fool you we booked a table for 8 and was sat in a small booth with absolutely no room for any of us to move. Big menu which is a plus for those fussy eaters however if you don’t speak the language I would steer very clear of this place we ordered our starters and drinks and we waited for over an hour for the starters to arrive and was still missing 2 drinks which we pointed out several times, and the waiter kept suggesting they was arriving. We ordered in total 4 Steaks medium rare which all came over cooked almost 2 hours later when this was pointed out they offered to cook new however it was almost midnight and we wanted to go home the Tacos and the other food we ordered was actually very good however the complete lack of service and English speaking did not help.

After a conversation with the manager he put me on the phone to his boss who could speak some English who did Offer to take 2 steaks off the bill for them coming out incorrect which was appreciated however this was after 30 minutes arguing with him on the phone saying this is absolutely unacceptable but he did not seem to care. Overall the live music was good but was too loud for our liking the service was absolutely terrible and the worst I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. I recently dined at Americana Brunch & Cake on MAvenue, and my experience was quite disappointing despite a few bright spots. Our waitress, Rihab, was outstanding—her service was bubbly and accommodating, even though we arrived quite late. She made us feel welcome and her attentiveness was genuinely appreciated.

However, the positive impression was marred by a serious issue with the food. We were served a dish with raw chicken. This was particularly troubling as it was our last table of the night, and I expected better quality control from the kitchen. When Rihab brought this to the chef's attention, she was met with an appalling response. The chef insisted that the raw chicken was "normal" because it was marinated, which not only showed a lack of proper food safety knowledge but also left us deeply concerned.

Despite Rihab's best efforts to address the situation, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake from the chef, which was both unprofessional and disappointing. Rihab's dedication was the only redeeming factor of the evening. If it weren't for her excellent service, I would have rated Americana Brunch & Cake as 0 stars.
