I spent a week in Marrakech, splitting my stay between a resort on the outskirts of town and a 3-night stay at Four Seasons to explore the city. After an exceptional experience at the first resort, the Four Seasons proved less consistent in service. That said, the hotel does have some great staff amongst the team - particular thanks to Fatima and Hisham. ||Unlike most hotels, at the Four Seasons Marrakech many staff fail to acknowledge guests with a greeting when passing in public spaces, which diminished from the feeling of welcome.||Further details on the stay… || Arrival:|On arrival, only one receptionist was present and already occupied, leading to a short delay. During this time, a welcoming young gent offered Moroccan tea. The formalities of checkin were paired with some unnecessary personal commentary from the receptionist - enquiring on whether I enjoyed solo travel (as she did not) and later remarking on my lack of a tan.|| Room:|I was initially assigned a Garden Patio room, but construction noise prompted a move. This was expertly handled by the front desk supervisor, who arranged an Upper Pavilion room. This room was light-filled, spacious and well-appointed, with generous outdoor seating and peaceful garden views. It is also detached from the main building and felt private. Housekeeping was good, with the notable exception of missing turndown service on the second evening. As for sleep quality, the bed was the usual Four Seasons high quality however the aircon not very effective (even on the lowest setting & after being checked). || Hotel & Grounds:|It’s a lovely resort, and the architecture features some nice Moroccan touches - most notably the grand water feature leading to the main building and the indoor décor. Despite its proximity to the city, the hotel grounds are expansive and very enjoyable to stroll. Aircon in the lobby and reception area was inadequate. ||During my stay the hotel was undergoing maintenance, which had not been disclosed at time of booking or on their website. This included the closure of the adults-only pool, leaving only the rather noisy family pool available. After raising this with management, they offered access to the pool in one of their villas. Service from Hisham, the waiter there, was outstanding - a contrast to the main pool, where on my first day staff were disengaged and guests needed to seek out staff / approach the bar themselves.|| Spa:|The massage was relaxing. It was however one of the smallest treatment rooms I’ve been in with some ill fitting curtain making the room brighter than it should be. || Dining:|Breakfast at Quattro was very enjoyable. There was a comprehensive buffet with local and international selections, eggs made to order, and a great selection of fruit juices. Staff were friendly and it was a lovely setting for outdoor dining.||Lunch at Azzera was underwhelming. The vegan cobb salad was beautifully presented, but would have benefited from a sauce. Despite an empty well staffed venue, service was inattentive - no one checked on the meal after it was served, water wasn’t replenished, and the table wasn’t cleared for some time after dining.||Early evening drinks at Inara on the first night were forgettable - neither the bartender nor waitress knew what a Daiquiri was. ||Zest Rooftop was a standout however - lovely views, good service, tasty cocktails, a DJ, and an enjoyable Asian-inspired menu.||Finally, a note on vegetarian options: beyond salads and pasta, these were limited across all main menus including room service menu. I also had to repeatedly remind staff of a nut allergy, which most premium hotels note at check-in or after the first interaction...

The perfect family vacation at the Four Season Marrakech. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

The location: is absolutely perfect! Away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina but still near all the landmarks, restaurants, gardens and shops. This resort is like an oasis in the middle of a dessert. Once you step inside there are tons of palm trees…it’s very green and beautiful. Plus you can walk to M Avenue that has many shops and restaurants open. PRIME LOCATION!

The amenities: include adult AND family pools, kids club, teens club, clay tennis court, fitness center with cardio AND weight room plus a beautiful spa. We used all of the amenities while here. Perfect for families because it has a bit of everything no matter what age.

The food: is super good! You can have lunch at Azzera which has the coolest outside ambiance with live music on the weekends. You can also eat at Quattro, it’s an Italian indoor/outdoor restaurant. Here you can enjoy the best breakfast buffet or dinner on the terrace. Then you have Inara, a cool Moroccan, Turkish, Lebanese lounge area where you can order cocktails and food. Great at sunset time because of the most gorgeous view. They even have heaters outside if it gets too cold.

The rooms: do not disappoint. We stayed in room 30 and connected to room 31. It’s a private patio suite with its own pool. Incredible! The layout is spacious and the room itself is gorgeous! Great location for a family because it’s next to kid’s club and family pool.

My fav part: THE SERVICE! They deserve 10/10! Top Notch Service! The absolute BEST! All staff members have been SO nice, cheerful, considerate, helpful and make you feel like royalty. From checking in with Badr, Allal and Sami, to Ahmed who is in charge of housekeeping and decorated our room for our anniversary, to Mohamed from room service who made sure we always had the correct food order, Sara, Abde, Yassine and Madhi from Azzera always chatting with us every morning with a huge smile behind that mask, to Abdu who brings in fresh fruit everyday day, Abdel’s turn down service is the best and always on point, to Samir in the Inaca lobby restaurant, Karima and Samira from kid’s club who took such great care of my kids, Mohamed and Marouane from Quattro were so accommodating and super sweet, Siad is the best pool waiter….always happy, Safa who made crepes for us every morning at breakfast, Mounir who always is so joyful gave us the best room service. Abdelaziz also from room service was so nice! Abderrahmane was very kind and provided amazing service. Abderrazak was our absolute fav, always greeting us with such great energy and making sure we were always cared for. Fatiha from the spa gave me the best massage, make sure to request her. Ghizlane from house keeping who kept our room clean all week with such a great attitude!

We love you all so much! None of this would be possible without Asmaa and Reda. You both are amazing people. Thank you for making our stay so memorable! Will never...

My stay at the Four Seasons Marrakech was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the property. The stunning architecture, lush gardens, and tranquil courtyards made it feel like a dream come true. Every corner of the resort was meticulously maintained, and it was evident that great care is taken to ensure the property stays in pristine condition.

The attention to detail was exceptional. What truly stood out, however, was the incredible service. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. They were all so warm, welcoming, and attentive, constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. It felt as though they genuinely cared about our comfort and satisfaction, and that personal touch made all the difference.

The pool attendants were always on hand, ensuring we had everything we needed—whether it was fresh towels, drinks, or just a friendly chat. Their service was impeccable, and it was such a pleasure to relax by the pool knowing that we were well taken care of. The breakfast staff was also amazing. Every morning, we'd exchange a few words with them, and their friendly banter made the start of the day feel extra special. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being welcomed into a home.

A special shoutout to Fatima, who worked at the fitness center. She was an absolute gem—so accommodating, friendly, and full of energy. Fatima always greeted us with a big smile, and her warmth truly made a difference in our experience. She was a sweetheart, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about our well-being. It’s rare to encounter someone who brings such positive energy to their work, and she made our time at the fitness center even more enjoyable.

From the immaculate cleanliness of the rooms to the outstanding service across the property, everything was just perfect. I can honestly say I would come back to the Four Seasons Marrakech just to stay at this property again. It’s the kind of place where you feel completely pampered, and you leave with the fondest memories.

If you're looking for a truly special experience, I can't recommend this...

Our recent stay at Four Seasons Resort Marrakech was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the elegance and exceptional service that Four Seasons is known for worldwide. This resort perfectly reflects the luxurious reputation of this Canadian hotel chain, and it was the ideal place to stay while visiting Marrakech. We had the pleasure of staying in one of the Suites with a Private Pool, and it exceeded all expectations. The suite was incredibly spacious and located on the second floor, offering breathtaking views and a wonderful sense of privacy. The design of the suite, like the rest of the resort, was absolutely stunning – a blend of modern luxury with Moroccan architectural touches. Every detail felt carefully thought out, creating a peaceful and stylish retreat. The service was impeccable throughout our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and polite, always eager to assist with anything we needed. It truly felt like the staff went above and beyond to make our experience special, which made a big difference. One of the highlights of our stay was dining at Inara restaurant. The restaurant overlooks the resort’s beautiful gardens, providing a serene and picturesque setting for every meal. The food was delicious, with a great variety of local and international dishes, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing evening. I highly recommend trying it at least once during your stay – you won’t be disappointed. The entire resort is beautifully designed, with lush gardens, elegant common areas, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it feel like an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Whether you’re by the pool, in the spa, or simply relaxing in the lobby, every corner of the resort is a visual delight. Overall, our stay at Four Seasons Resort Marrakech was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of stunning design, excellent service, and luxurious accommodations made it one of our best travel experiences. I can’t recommend this resort highly enough and would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Marrakech.

Four Season Marrakech is beautifully located in a prime location in Marrakech . It is beautifully decorated . We a large group of business people from Edward Jones, USA came here for a one week company retreat . I would advice management to address following problems I faced : 1. Hotel is not handicap friendly at all . 2. I had problem walking due to a knee surgery and was using a cane . I had to use inside elevator to go in & out of room on 4th floor. The restaurant in the downstairs had no signs how to get there from the elevator . The same applies for spa . Unless you know where they are it is very challenging for anyone to reach ; especially a walking challenged person like me. And local workers are no help showing where to go. This problem can be fixed with simple few signs. 2. Both in breakfast place and first floor dinner place service is terrible . The lady concierge at the ground floor breakfast place just smiles and provides No service. Three servers asked me what I need and no one provided a cup of coffee . Finally manager gave me one. We had same experience at the dinner . Poor service. Our request got ignored many times . Too many people work here and they just do not provide service ! Why ? Four season should have better service . We stayed one night inside Medina in a Riad Hotel and what an excellent service we received ! 3. After searching long I reached Spa. I went to spa to use hot tub to reduce my pain and hot tub was cold ! My house hot tub water temp always at 104deg F. I think water temperature in hot tub at spa was 75-80 deg F. I asked the attendant twice to increase the temp and he didn’t understand me or ignored me . Overall a total frustration . 4. I went to use bath tub inside my room and I could not get out from this obsolete deep bath tub. Finally my wife called security to pick me up ! 5. Room service was excellent . 6. Welcome service at the entrance was excellent . 7. Room was excellent

Beautiful hotel but can feel more like a 4 star rather than a 5 star at times. My room was large, comfortable bed, very clean - housekeeping make up your room twice a day. Very welcoming with complimentary fruit, nuts and cakes and a greeting card in your room on arrival. Provided with robes and slippers They do lack in toiletries - you have to call housekeeping if you need any extras like toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shower cap, cotton earbuds - I would have expected them to have been in the bathroom. We had a large deep bathtub but no products to have a bath with which is odd. Large walk in wardrobe. Staff are friendly and helpful. You can even contact the hotel on WhatsApp and you will get a reply quickly. I was able to exchange my money at the hotel with a good rate. The staff all wear masks and plenty of covid measures in place. Spa facilities are great, separate men and women's spa, jacuzzi and sauna. 2 pools - one for adults another for family, plenty of sun loungers. 24hr gym. Tennis court but you have to pay to rent the equipment. The breakfast is basic and I did expect more from the four season. There is the standard egg station, pancake crepe station, continental selection, English breakfast selection and a few types of Moroccan breads. Not many cheese options - 4 at most. 1 type of sliced meat and salmon. There is a lingering smell of food/egg in parts of the hotel. I would suggest adding some sort of fragrance or improve the ventilation if possible. Takes 10mins to get to city centre and there is always a taxi ready to take you from the hotel.
