MAS Q TAPAS MARRAKECH — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

We had come for dinner and greeted by a polite member of staff however that is the only nice thing to say about this establishment.

We were originally sat inside but then they sat a random couple on our table who then proceeded to smoke next to us .

The music was extremely loud , understandably there is live music however there was no way of even hearing the person you are sat at dinner with .

We then asked to move outside which they did move us to however it took them 10 minutes to even lay out our table and we had to ask for a menu . We repeatedly got ignored and were the only British customers in the restaurant . I can only assume they’re racist as no other customers were ignored the entire time .

We also had to ask to order as they kept ignoring us again ( at this point we are 30 minutes into being here ) . When we eventually get the food it is all freezing cold as is it has been sat on the side for hours despite coming out in skillets there was only 2 items we were fine with .

We explained we were not happy to the manager with the service and the food and some of the food was taken away and then we got ignored again and no replacement .

We thought we would be courteous and translate to them as they were clearly not listening as didn’t like British people . We got ignored for around another 10 minutes depsite us trying to call them over . We then went up to the front and tried to show the translation to which we were dismissed and asked to pay the bill . I explained we would pay for the food we did not have an issue with but we are not paying for things that have been taken away especially as we were ignored . The manager came out again and other staff and we kept trying to show the translation so ensure they understood the issue and how to resolve this and they kept flinging their hands dismissing us telling us to pay for food they removed from our table .

The managers attitude towards us was disgusting and said I quote “ you just pay me ”. He was not interested in the fact we were unhappy and did not try to resolve the problem , he tried to tell us that meatballs in a skillet are meant to be cold ( clearly not meant to be served cold ) . The way he spoke to us young girls was unacceptable and we have never felt so insulted and discriminated against . We tried to resolve the issue however they would not take constructive criticism or try to offer a resolution therefore I would avoid at all costs .

There were also other issues I will not go into as this is a long review however a level of service is expected to each customer and we did...

If i could give you 0 i would i could not seat or eat with that much of smoking with no rules they not separate spaces for non-smokers so they can enjoy the experience, they obligated you to consume 300dirham as minimum so you can seat inside even though people still smoke there close space.

Food are catastrophic i have bad pain after eating their food mind you i choose the samples safest ones like legumes which was full of small paper and very tiny of other vegetables my friend got meatballs taste like non human food.

Too much of artificial added i saw a lady beside me not even touch her plate and said i dont like it at all i saw many left the food nearly not touched. Overlay this place overrated and too expensive compared to what they afford am very very disappointed unfortunately for this experience. I thought coming from Australia i would taste authentic food here but i dont recommend them at all please do yourself favour and stay away...
