I went to this place and I sat in the second floor, the waiter before he took my order told me that this floor only for food you need to go to the third floor for drinks, I looked at him and said I was there already and your colleagues are still cleaning the floor, tables and one of them told me better to go back to the second floor. anyway in the second floor couple of tourists were having only drinks so I looked at his eyes and he could clearly see my face expression so he knew I was going to tell him to go away and call someone else to take my order, then he smiled and said it is okay I will not make you upset just stay where you are.
He took my order and asked him if I can get 2 avocado juices 1 in and 1 in a take away cup with sugar, so we waited for a while and when he brought the juice it was not sweet as I wanted it so I asked him again if I can have more sugar on it and he said he will bring me the sugar sachet and I add it my self so in a nice way I said to him can you please take the juice with you put it in to blender add more sugar and mix them together, after few minutes he came back with the juice full of sugar not melted, so at this point I got a bit upset because he did not listen to me as a client and did what he wanted, so I took the full cup of the avocado juice and went to his manager and explained to him what happened and he was apologetic and I went straight to the bathroom to wash my hands in the first floor and when I came back to the table I found the cup with a quarter of the juice on it, I sat in the chair and called the manger and told him I gave you the cup full up of juice why you are bring it back as a quarter so his answer was because the rest of the juice stays inside the blender and I said to him even the rest stays in the blender you need to add another half of the avocado with milk and bring me the cup full up as I gave it to you, with all that I was talking to him in our dialect language to not notice that I speak English and treat me as someone who lives in the country, he was trying to convince me that he is was right and I was wrong and that he had changed the cup and I told him even you had changed the cup it is same size as the one you took which means you have to bring me my cup full.
So at the moment i think he realised he was wrong and took the cup to get me a new juice but I was already pissed of the service and told him just cancel it and do not make me a new one please because this is my first and last time I will come to this place , I think when I said that to him I was trying to say it in our dialect language and some words of English came out of my mouth and realised that I am someone ho does not live in the country and I am a tourist. After that I asked the person was with me to pay for everything and meet me outside the place, after that the person was with me came down he says that they took 140 dirham for 2 avocado juices 1 with milk and 1 with orange and 2 small bottles of water.
From what I noticed in my country I think most people who works in restaurants and cafe’s field needs to be more educated about customer service, by smiling on a clients faces, welcoming them and provide a good service, I saw in some restaurants how waiters gives a dirty look to a client if they don’t leave them a tip and swear at them when they leave which is not acceptable, you are the face of tourism and the ones that bring us back to visit our country with...

Read moreWe went there for lunch before our flight and the experience was not great! We had to wait a lot for the food and the restaurant was not even that busy. We were seating next to the glass at the middle part of the restaurant to see the view! The waiter who served us was not that friendly and didn't speak good English. We asked for an extra glass and he said "okay" where he didn't even understand what I've asked for! After 10 mins of waiting, I had to call another waiter to ask for the glass as he was nowhere to be seen. The food was alright but the TAGINE was SUPER EXPENSIVE! "170DH for few pieces of meat is too much" so we weren't that satisfied! After the meal I asked that waiter to bring the bill as he was nearby at that time. He had to give us 50DH rest and instead of bringing a whole note, he gave us a broken two of 20DH and a 10DH coin so that I can tip him! The whole time he was just walking around and watching me how much I put him as Tip which was ridiculous! As the service wasn't great and food super expensive, I've decided not to tip him much but he didn't like that amount at all! WE JUST GOT UP FROM THE CHAIR TO LEAVE PUTTING THE TIPS ON THE TABLE, THE GUY INSTANTLY RAN TO THE TABLE TO CHECK THE TIPS AMOUNT, DIDN'T LIKE IT AND RAN BACK TO ME TO GIVE THAT MONEY BACK! I WAS SHOCKED, LOOKING AT HIS FACE AND FELT REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE! HE WAS TELLING ME "KEEP IT, TAKE THIS" THIS WAS THE VERY FIRST TIME IN LIFE I FELT SO DISGUSTING BY A GREEDY WAITERS BEHAVIOUR! I ran downstairs with my wife and asked for the Manager. The manager heard everything and apologised in front of everyone on behalf of his staff telling that "Tips are not mandatory and you have the right to tip as much as you want according to your experience". He also asked me if I'd like to go upstairs and show him which waiter was that but I replied "I don't want him to be embarassed now and your other staffs to feel uncomfortable too so I'll leave this to you to sort it out as this was a really bad service" He after that assured that he'll instantly speak to that waiter after we leave and also told us that this Restaurant is our home and we're always welcome here! I hope they sack him for his unprofessional behaviour towards a tourist...
