Aux Merveilles de marrakech — Local services in Marrakesh Prefecture

We visited this shop on the 25th of May 2023 and we bought and ordered a carpet to be shipped to us, in the United States. We paid $ 600 for the rug and $ 200 just for the shipping. They promised we would get our rug within two months. It has been more than 4 months, now, and the carpet has never been shipped. This business cashed 800 $ and they never delivered. They never answer the phone. We are planning to take a legal action and report them to the local authorities. BE CAUTIOUS when dealing with this shop.

UPDATE: I was finally able to reach them by phone, and the guy said the rug was in the store, ready to be shipped. This turned out to be a LIE. This is a shop managed by larcenists and thieves. We came in because of the positive reviews online and were not disappointed! The prices seemed fair and you didn't have to haggle nor sit through a mint tea ceremony. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful, determined to help us get the perfect rugs! They arranged shipping to the US on our behalf and had thought of all the details (sign the back of your rug so you know it's the one you picked out, asked us to photograph it, had a detailed receipt and accepted credit cards and offered a cash discount). We had the best experience here! We shopped around for a while before stumbling across Aux Merveilles de Marrakech. I think shopping around first helped us realize the quality of the rugs that were here. We were shown so many rugs, and my partner and I were both finding what styles and colours we liked in the process, which was encouraged, the gentleman at this store wanted to show us every possible type of rug so that we were happy with our decision.
