Le Marivaux Marrakech — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

There is absolutely nothing I do not like about this place. So pristine! Worth money and time.

First of all, perfect location and beautiful ambience. It was my birthday some days back and I decided to have lunch in Le Marivaux that afternoon. Twas the best decision ever.

The food was tasty. The drinks, although nonalcoholic, also lovely. They were able to get a lovely cake for me and also played a birthday song; this made me so happy.

The staff were friendly and always available. Hamza in particular was amazing and really made us feel special and welcomed there. The menu wasn’t in English language but he guided us through it.

The meals and service rendered were so good that we had to visit again the night before we left Marrakech.

We went to this place tonight (unfortunately).

Lentil soup was good. The chicken tagine was not only fresh but also very poor quality.

The pizza was a normal size of very thin bread and a bit cheese on top of that.

We asked for some pepper and the waiter brought a piece of old green pepper.

We were hungry and not ready for complain, but I asked the waiter to talk to the manager, he said: no manager tonight, I asked the owner, he said he is living in France, and I asked him to talk to someone else and he said: no one else to talk about it and he said : but why you didn't talk to me before, I could change it for you bla bla bla... Sadely, after about four hours, we still not feeling well. I think there is no quality control for this business which is not good specially if you are not at your...

The food was great , the place itself was pretty- however the service was appalling especially for a high end restaurant and the menu was misleading. They had listen mocktails and separately cocktails. My friend ordered a cocktail - when it arrived it had no alcohol. She didn’t drink it and we complained when someone finally came over again (lots of waiters walking around aimlessly - no one checking on customers ) and they refused to remove it from the bill! Absolute scam! Paying £7 for what was essentially a smoothie- which we didn’t order, didn’t want and didn’t even taste good.

A real shame, the food was nice but we will not be visiting again after this...
