Addict by Gatsby — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

Unfortunately we had a bad experience here. Upon showing up we didn’t get greeted with a smile, but rather with an unwelcoming glaze. We got served quickly, however the waitress was dismissive and didn’t smile once, nor did she acknowledge us when we tried to thank her. (At one point she even looked at me as I was politely raising my hand to order a drink and blatantly ignored me)

Not only that, but when I was left alone (my partner went to get cash to pay as it’s cash only) the waitress along with the man who makes the shisha (and cocktails?) and someone who appeared to be a manager turned to me and were laughing at me and talking about me in French. The reason I know it was about me 100% is because the manager (?) was sat with her back facing me but turned her neck and looked at me whilst laughing along with the others.

We got charged 60 MAD for a small bottle of water which is also absurd! The shisha we ordered was a cheaper price on the menu than what we got charged for it also.

The customers, even though the establishment is not to blame, had their phones on loud volume whilst watching things which was also unpleasant.

Aside from this, the strawberry mojito and shisha were good, which is the only reason I won’t leave 1 star. It’s such a shame that the experience was so bad and...

From the moment I walked into Addict by Gatsby, I was impressed. The decor is absolutely stunning – a perfect blend of modern luxury with Marrakech flair. Every detail feels thoughtfully curated, from the stylish lighting to the cozy seating and elegant finishes. It creates a chic yet comfortable atmosphere that's ideal for relaxing or socializing.

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, striking the perfect balance between professional and friendly. Their attentiveness made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The shisha was smooth, flavorful, and clearly high quality – probably one of the best I’ve had in Marrakech. And the iced caramel latte was just divine: rich, perfectly balanced, and refreshing – the kind of drink you keep thinking about long after it's gone.

The ambience of this place was lovley. Deco is classy with plants and soft lighting. The music was modern and in the background and football was playing on the TV screens so it's a place where you can relax and enjoy with a group of people or with one other person and it isn't too loud or showy. The cocktails and drinks were amazing. We didn't eat here, so can't comment on the food. The menu is on a QR code and is easy to access and it takes cash.
