Atlas Rooftop Bar & Lounge — Restaurant in Yangon

What distinguishes Atlas from other Yangon sky bars is its spectacular view of both the San Chaung skyline and the distant Shwedagon Pagoda. As such there are views on offer for each direction.

A DJ was playing in this open top bar (located 12 floors in the air!). The music was good, not overpowering, the ambiance was nice and chilled out. The staff were fairly prompt in making my beer.

However, there were no high stool seats at the bar for the lone patrons. As such, it excludes people who want to go for a quiet drink by themselves. The arrangement of the bar is such is that it caters to large groups - not necessarily a bad thing but large groups are only part of the consumer market.

Also, there is little intimacy between tables as the bar is quite open visually.

Came with 3 locals and own family Great atmosphere and we wanted to end our last night in myanmar on a memorable note. Expensive drinks but good variety of wine Food is totally hopeless... we almost tried the whole menu... cold sticky fries which obviously was prepared, chicken satay meat was tough, chicken wings were tasteless, spicy pork salad the worst of them all with only smell of fish sauce and totally untouched as way too salty...the only decent choice was the german pizza... feedback to the service staff to inform the kitchen team too... it was not even considered decent ... only for drinks /atmosphere is fine... definitely a...

Atlas Rooftop Bar & Lounge is at the top floor (12F) of the Uniteam building in Yangon. It offers a really (!!!) great view of the city and most especially of Shwedagon Pagoda at night.

The cocktails are good, but needs a bit more kick of alcohol in it. Was surprised a sisig fusion dish was in the menu, so we ordered it. Probably, it has been changed to suit Burmese taste, but I didn’t taste any of the Filipino sisig I was looking for.

But what made the night incredible was the overall vibe of the place. Really chill place to be in plus the DJ!!! The DJ was amazing with his really cool mix!...
