Mahlzeit Restaurant — Restaurant in Yangon

3 of us had lunch today.

A bit late lunch as manager was having a meeting with staff at the entrance table when we left ( which is not a problem at all ).

They forgot one main dish we ordered. The german pasta was not very warm as they probably cooked first and they brought all ordered food together when ready... of course with one missing

Parma Ham Salad at 14 000 ++ is a money maker for sure there... Little tiny pieces of ham on top... Tiny portion of sauerkraut on the 24 000 kyats 3 sausages plater...

We were only 3 tables at that time in the restaurant not busy so no rush ...

With such mediocre service 10% service charge on top of the bill with such prices is abusive !

Above all I think the most surprising for such establishment was to have on the table as paper napkins the same paper they use for hands in their toilets... ( which is very clean by the way )

Not recommending...

Went there last week, I was very much looking forward to some proper German food. I was quite disappointed with the quality of what we had. The sausages weren't amazing, the sauerkraut was a massive let-down. I did enjoy the schnitzel though! We ordered several items off the menu, included the leberkase which i really was in the mood for. When they were bringing the food i told them there's a leberkase missing and i waited whilst eating what we were sharing on the table and the leberkase never came. I was a bit annoyed with this as I asked twice and i made sure i enunciated, so no excuse about language barrier here. I would have maybe understood if this mistake happened whilst it was busy, but it wasn't.

P.s. It would be good to have some proper german beers (apart from the so called "german premium" Kaiserdom...

I ordered the donner kebab from this place. Kebab has a lot of different takes nowadays but i dont think what i ate would qualify as a kebab. Being named after a german chain I would have assumed it would be serving similar food but it just feels lacking. The kebab i ate has more of everything but the kebab itself, the sauce is not great, the price is also a lot considering what they served.

If you want a decent kebab this place isn't , its more of a salad place with...
