Bar Zonder Naam is a quaint bar close to the center of Swakopmund, which although easy to find, is definitely a hidden gem. They have a big selection of gins available, but also a nice selection of wines and craft beers ensuring there is something for everyone's taste. Although we only visited for drinks, food platters are available for those feeling a bit hungry. Our host, Siggie, was very friendly and welcoming and his knowledge of gin and flavour profiles is impressive. Based on our flavor profiles, he guided us through their large selection of gins and helped us pick some to try, which we really enjoyed. What made our experience even more special, was that they also have Namibian gins available, which I highly recommend you try. What a cozy wine bar along the best area of Swakopmund town. In the middle of the huzz and buss Swakop town has to offer, comfortably seated under the palm trees with expert service offering, passionately telling you all the stories of the different wines and gins they have to offer. One can learn a lot from the friendly staff about all kinds of wines and gins. Every drink is served in its own unique way, which is a real experience on its own. Bad/slow service, two separate occasions was served incorrect drinks, missed drinks (only 2 of us but still managed to bring ice but forget the drink) or with incorrect combinations (they call them garnishes) because lack of stock (its flavoured ice cubes) but instead of saying they don't have that certain "garnish" they just bring totally different flavour profiled "garnish" and say nothing. On the second occasion I returned the drink (gin) I had not ordered as the mint garnish they added ruined the flavour only to be questioned about the gin when I chance my order to a IPA beer as if I'm obligated to drink it.
