Tiger Reef Beach Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Erongo Region

Slowest Service ever! I have been at Tiger Reef 2 days in a row now, both days we had a extreme slow service. We waited for the first part of our Ford order 2 hours, the last part did not even come. 2 days in a row we had the manager at our table. Get your restaurant (kitchen) organised very quickly!

Update Thank you for the clarifying talk at your headquartes. After seeing and hearing what had happend I would like to correct my recession. We did not wait 2 hours for our food, looking at the camera footage the first dishes came after 50 minutes. Then we where told that there was a misunderstanding with some of our orders, they unfortunately went to a other table. The kitchen had nothing to do with it. Once the food came, it was very good. I want to point out again, that Tiger Reef is a legendary location...

It's undeniably most fantastically situated especially for sunset. It's an eating venue with no smoking signs, yet people are smoking AND they are provided with ashtrays. The way smoking happens here is against the law. Our service from Sonata was very professional and friendly. Definitely do not order the mussel pot. Its sold and charged as a main course but only 6 small mussels were served (see photos). I requested an alternative for the bread and was offered a small side salad, but they had run out of lettuce. Being grateful the substitute, I didn't mind. Then I was charged for a side salad. Having not being informed of or agreed to the charge, I asked for it to be removed, which it was, but apparently then charged to the waitress.

Location 5 stars. Service 4. Food 3. Value...

The place was half empty yet it took us 2 and a half hours to get our food. Our reservation was at 7pm but we didn’t receive any food until 9:30pm. With little other dinner options available, we stayed to wait for our food. Not only did we receive our food late but we were offered a free appetizer to compensate for our late food but they later made us pay for it. They also forgot one of our entrees and one of us didn’t eat. By the time we asked for the missing plate they said their kitchen was closed, as we received our food at 9:30 and the kitchen closes at 10. When my battered hake came it was soggy and many of us didn’t like our food. The management did not compensate anyone and offered us just a coffee for the long wait and for missing our entrees.
