We walked in and they turned off the lights to the bar claiming that they were closing soon. As we walked out the lights came back on and more people walked in asking to be served. They told those people that they’re closing loudly just for us to hear and the people proceeded to wait outside of the bar until we left. Seems that they are looking to attract a certain crowd. One of the best VEGETARIAN burgers I've every had, nevermind that finding a dedicated vegetarian dish is a rarity in this town/country! Awesome atmosphere, excellent local music too. I'll be back...

Wer denkt, dass Swakop nach 2 Wochen langweilig wird, war noch nicht in der "Alten Laundry". Hier gibt es das absolute Musikangebot....so gemischt, wie das namibische Volk selbst. Im schattigen Garten treffen sich schwarz und weiß, jung und alt. Musik und Gesprächsstoff verbindet alle....und Hunger und Durst sowieso :).....es lohnt sich mehrmals wiederzukommen und einen Tag genau hier ausklingen zu lassen. Die Kellner und Köche bieten euch das Beste. Mein musikalischer Favorit sind Riaan, Sagi und Johnny+Momo!!! Die muss man gehört haben, bevor man wieder abfährt.
