Andy's Pub & Restaurant — Restaurant in Khomas

As an outdoors kind of guy Andys caters for me in more than one way. I enjoy the feeling of sitting outside and enjoying an ice cold beer. Recently got introduced to a German delight called Erdinger, came as a suggestion from one of the waitresses. Definitely worth recommending.

Only negative thing i can say, the missing one star is that the music tends to get loud at times. I last asked the music to be reduced outside close to where my company was seated and they could not cater as the entire sound system is interconnected, both inside and outside, reducing outside would mean there would be no music inside. Or thats how the barman explained it. Ended up moving to a different table, not the best experience. Recommendation till that is resolved, avoid seating next to or under speakers

All in all, i would recommend the place, they also have Pool tables for extra activities to...

Being an Andy's regular, I was excited to have a nice steak at Andy's last night. We were a group of six. What a disaster! After trying to send back my delicious looking rump steak, totally over-salted and not eatable though, Andy himself came to the table to inquire what the problem is. When we politely explained that this can happen in the kitchen and we understand, Andy said he "does not make mistakes" and this is "his style". I told him that we at the table are very disappointed about his attitude, he said he does not care because the place has been sold anyway. Must have been the worst experience that us all had in a Namibian restaurant...and that from the manager/owner/ex-owner...

I love Andy's, but it is not the same Andy's as it was a year or so ago. I go there at least once or twice a month. The service is still great and still the same vibe, but the quality of the food has gone down a lot. The dishes that I used to love is now watered down and it's like they are doing massive cost cutting or something. I don't know. I'm very disappointed. I also ordered a cocktail that was not at all as advertised or described in menu. What was supposed to be real blended strawberries in the strawberry daiquiri tasted like raspberry drink o'pop. Very disappointing, and it's like the staff are also aware of the downward slope that I have gradually noticed in...
