Read moreIt's always a nice touch when the head chef/owner personally greets you and ensures everything is to your liking, however, I wouldn’t say that the service was exceptional. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal.
We started with a complimentary lamb broth, which was absolutely delicious and perfect for the winter season. I then tried the mixed platter, which offered a little bit of everything. The hummus, tahini, baba ganoush, and pita bread were standouts, and the rice had wonderful, vibrant flavors. The meat items were good but didn't quite wow me as much as the starters.
For dessert, I had baklava with Turkish ice cream and another dessert, but unfortunately, they were overly sweet and too soft for my taste. I’m familiar with the texture that baklava and kataifi are supposed to have, and unfortunately, this didn't meet my expectations.

Read moreThis was hands down one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had in Kathmandu. The service was horrendous. We waited 45 minutes just to place our order, and over an hour and a half to get the food. No one cared to check on us, no one asked if we needed anything — it was like we didn’t even exist.

I had to ask three different people just to get cutlery, and still had to wait. No one ever came to ask if the food was okay. Dirty plates sat on our table for 20 minutes. We ordered Baklava — it took 30+ minutes and came out cold. What a joke.
The food was average at best, but the prices were ridiculously high, especially considering the service was absolutely nonexistent.
If you’re thinking about trying this place, don’t. It’s a complete waste of money and time. Terrible food, terrible service, and zero hospitality....
