ALEV KEBAB SULTAN is a Turkish halal restaurant that delivers an exceptional dining experience. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance. The star of the show was undoubtedly the kebabs—succulent, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. The tender meat, whether lamb or chicken was expertly seasoned, leaving me craving more. The pita bread was a heavenly companion, freshly baked and fluffy, complementing the kebabs perfectly. The menu offered a variety of Turkish delights, including creamy hummus, Brinjal, Peper ,showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. The service was exceptional, with knowledgeable and friendly staff providing a memorable experience. ALEV KEBAB SULTAN is a hidden gem for halal food enthusiasts and lovers of Turkish cuisine. With mouthwatering kebabs, delectable pita bread, and warm hospitality, this restaurant is a must-visit. Prepare to indulge your senses and embark on an unforgettable gastronomic adventure. I am coming back again . But remember Nice dining experience going to cost but more than other usual...

It's always a nice touch when the head chef/owner personally greets you and ensures everything is to your liking, however, I wouldn’t say that the service was exceptional. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal.

We started with a complimentary lamb broth, which was absolutely delicious and perfect for the winter season. I then tried the mixed platter, which offered a little bit of everything. The hummus, tahini, baba ganoush, and pita bread were standouts, and the rice had wonderful, vibrant flavors. The meat items were good but didn't quite wow me as much as the starters.

For dessert, I had baklava with Turkish ice cream and another dessert, but unfortunately, they were overly sweet and too soft for my taste. I’m familiar with the texture that baklava and kataifi are supposed to have, and unfortunately, this didn't meet my expectations.

Would I return, maybe, though next time I plan to come with a group of friends so I can sample more dishes. However, I’ll probably skip the dessert, as it didn’t deliver the authentic flavors I...

This was hands down one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had in Kathmandu. The service was horrendous. We waited 45 minutes just to place our order, and over an hour and a half to get the food. No one cared to check on us, no one asked if we needed anything — it was like we didn’t even exist.

The staff were completely unbothered, running around only for big groups where they could rack up big bills. If you’re not a table of 10+ people, don’t bother coming — they’ll ignore you.

I had to ask three different people just to get cutlery, and still had to wait. No one ever came to ask if the food was okay. Dirty plates sat on our table for 20 minutes. We ordered Baklava — it took 30+ minutes and came out cold. What a joke.

The food was average at best, but the prices were ridiculously high, especially considering the service was absolutely nonexistent.

If you’re thinking about trying this place, don’t. It’s a complete waste of money and time. Terrible food, terrible service, and zero hospitality....
