Lete Thakali Kitchen — Restaurant in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

One of the worst places to have thakali food. I'm amused how drastically this place has downgraded in these recent years.

I went there straight after 5 years. Today I felt like I was on a completely different place, felt like a highway hotel. We were given no greetings/welcome when we entered. No service too. We literally had to call out staffs again and again to place our order. There were no proper dress codes for staffs too. Painting on walls were so rough that you wouldn't even want to stay a single moment there. But, we stayed for the food. Now, when food arrived, the very first impression went to the burnt papadums. I mean seriously? Flies were on the table every here and there, no cleanliness. Rice was the worst part. It tasted so stale that it felt like it was cooked in the morning. I give 0 stars to Lete, never going this place ever again.

Horrible experience, food was meh, dal was fuming with turmeric, we were left waiting and had to ring the bell 3 times to get the food, also when it would arrive, it would be missing some items from the order and we would again had to wait for 15 mins before ringing the bell. Before this, I had gone to Jimbu Thakali nearby and their customer service was horrible too. I had heard good reviews from so many about lete, but it left me disappointed. I always liked a Thakali Kitchen. But this place is different then other. Hats off for the food they served to us that day Plate is full of many dishes and love with Ghee & sweet Curd.But place is little bit hot with they should think about because everybody want to enjoy there Lunch, Food in cool place.And fried fish is to much soggy and oily.But beside that everything is perfect.The best part is this place like a home & familiar .
