I went to this restaurant few weeks ago during my Nepal stay to celebrate my sister’s birthday. I can say this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in Kathmandu. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were welcomed by the staff with a great smile. The restaurant felt cozy, clean, quiet, surrounded by greenery and trees that gave us a vibe that we were away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. The servers were extremely knowledgeable about the food and drink and made great recommendations according to our food choices. They were very accommodating to adjust the spice level especially for my 7 and 3 year-old. We ordered so many dishes- nonveg platter for appetizer was very good, kung pao chicken was best of all. My 3-year-old loved the pizza- perfect crust, fresh tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese melted our taste bud. Chicken sizzler had well marinated, perfectly cooked, very juicy and flavorful chicken which was my son’s favorite.  Chicken Momo was also one of the best dishes glad! we tried. Our food came on time with excellent presentation and mouth melting flavors. Basically, the ambiance, hospitality, delicious food, great presentation and variety of drink selection made our celebration a memorable night. Thanks to Apricus café team...

I do not recommend this restaurant for large groups due to poor management and service. I made a reservation six days in advance, only to find that the seats we had booked were taken by others on the day of the event, causing unnecessary delays as we had to wait for this issue to be resolved.

Additionally, we informed the staff in advance that we would be bringing our own wine and whiskey. While they mentioned there would be an extra crockery charge, they failed to specify that the charge differs for local and imported alcohol, and that bringing wine was not allowed at all.

The service was also subpar. I had to search for the servers myself, as they were unresponsive and didn’t attend to our table. Furthermore, when the cake was delivered with candles by the delivery guy, I asked the server to bring it to the table, but he simply brought the cake without the candles. When I inquired about the candles, he claimed there were none. I later confirmed with the bakery that the candles had indeed been sent along with the cake.
