Seafood Vibes Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Île des Terres Basses

Great off the beaten path restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Prices are very reasonable for seafood. IMO the food here is better and cheaper than Skip Jacks which we thought a few days ago was good also... Sorry, Seafood vibes beats them by a mile... Less crowded area and food is much better... We had the pumpkin soup (delicious)... Crab back was good but I'm not much of a fan of it. My son and wife loved it. My wife had the shrimp Creole which she loved, but would of liked the tails off. We don't like it when the tails are left in... But the taste was really good. My daughter had the Lobster Mac and Cheese and she loved it also... It was sweet, tender and very cheesy.. My other daughter had the ox tail, which she wasn't a fan of, but I tasted And it was delicious... It is a delicacy and more of an acquired taste, but I would say it was really good. My son had the grilled snapper with Mac and cheese on the side. He had been asking to go back to Skip Jacks to have the snapper again from there, but after he had this one, he changed his mind immediately. He absolutely loved their grilled Whole snapper. To wrap it up I had the Fish and Shrimp Kabobs.. DELICIOUS also .. I had as a side the mashed potatoes which I have to say that when you add a bit of Creo Sauce they make the mashed potatoes were the best I've ever had .. creamy... Overall I definitely recommend you check them out. We made reservations for 7pm on a Wednesday just in case... When we got there we were the first ones, however shortly after a few more people started to arrive... If we ever come back to the island, we will definitely come back to...

Firstly, the customer service was top tier. Wonderful people! They definitely ensure your dining experience is enjoyable. Lovely ambiance. Secondly, the food was scrumptious. I ordered the salmon and macaroni and cheese. The salmon had a beautiful sear to it and was lightly coated with a glaze that was perfectly balanced. The mac was hot and cheesy! And, as a bonus, the meal came with a salad with a light dressing on the side. I needed no extra condiments because everything was delicious. Thirdly, portion size. The servings were spot on. They ensure you have more than enough. Fourth, the pricing was reasonable. I had no issues with anything. My entire group enjoyed everything from start to finish. We visited Sint Maarten for our annual Mother’s Day Trip and we’re looking forward to great food unfortunately this was not the place. The DJ was great and our server was pleasant however after waiting. 3 hours the food was lackluster. I still can’t believe we waited 3 hours. I ordered the grilled Mahi Mahi which was rubbery, chewy, and room temperature. One of my friends ordered her steak well done and we are still trying to figure out how do you burn a steak and it still be raw on the inside.
