We were at the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, but we were not quite sure if we want to go back there again. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted cheerfully with the young lady which made us feeling welcome. We looked into the menu’s and ordered Buratta salad, Tournedo steak topped with duck liver and Steak with chimichurri sauce with green asparagus. We got our beverages and also the complimentary slices of sausage followed by Buratta salad we had ordered. Everything went well until we had to wait for our main courses for so long like about an hour and no staff came to inform us anything. We had to ask the lady to follow up the orders. To be honest, we were upset. We also saw other tables got their meals served. The gentleman who I was not sure if he was a chef or someone kept greeting and doing wine suggestion to other guests but never to us. We were feeling like we were skipped and overlooked! After an hour of waiting for steak, the taste and quality of steak were great but a bit bland, however when you topped it up with duck liver, it really elevated the taste of the meat.
To wrap it up, please do not overlooked the customers and revise the appropriate time for preparation of the meal and serving. There is no harm to come and inform that it will take longer time because the kitchen is busy or whatsoever but never omit the...

However, the overall experience left me feeling unsettled—not because of the accident itself, as these things happen, but due to the lack of acknowledgment and a sincere apology at the time from both the waitress and management.
What made the situation more frustrating was that no effort was made to clean the spill immediately—I had to clean it myself. While I understand from management that the waitress is young, I believe this highlights the need for training to help staff handle such situations with empathy and professionalism. Additionally, I want to emphasize that everyone deserves to feel acknowledged and respected regardless of the circumstances.
I hope this feedback helps improve how similar situations are handled in the future. A more proactive and empathetic approach would significantly enhance the overall customer experience.

Positiv möchte ich erwähnen, dass die Vorspeise sehr lecker war und ich sie genossen habe. Dennoch hat mich das Gesamterlebnis unzufrieden zurückgelassen – nicht wegen des Vorfalls an sich, denn solche Dinge passieren, sondern wegen des fehlenden Verständnisses und einer aufrichtigen Entschuldigung seitens der Kellnerin und der Geschäftsleitung.
Was die Situation noch frustrierender machte, war, dass keine Anstrengung unternommen wurde, das Missgeschick sofort zu beseitigen – ich musste es selbst reinigen. Ich verstehe von der Geschäftsleitung, dass die Kellnerin jung ist, aber ich denke, dies zeigt die Notwendigkeit, das Personal darin zu schulen, solche Situationen mit Empathie und Professionalität zu meistern. Darüber hinaus möchte ich betonen, dass jeder es verdient, unabhängig von den Umständen anerkannt und respektiert zu werden.

I loved the truffle sauce of the Parmezan fries. We got seated at the ground floor right by the fire which was nice coz it’s almost freezing outside. We had enough privacy coz the tables are placed far enough from each other. The ambiance was cozy, the background music was nice but maybe a tad too loud for my taste. The service is friendlier than what you usually get in the Netherlands. Simple menu, they also have fish and other meats but mainly focused on steaks. There was at least one to two vegetarian options though. We were there from 17:30-19:00 for a 2-course menu.
