KFC — Restaurant in Almere

Placed the order via thuisbezorgd at 18:49 for delivery at 19:45. The order did not arrive. KFC called at 20:05 to tell me they could not deliver what I had ordered as they could not add it to the system even though the option to have 2 coleslaws was possible on the site. They wanted me to pay for fries instead that i did not want as that's what they could send. The manager was rude enough to say he would not deliver if I did not accept the help as he mentioned he was doing by making me pay etc. He would not share his name either. One of the worst customer services possible after not contacting for more than 1.5 hours since the order. He also mentioned he was fine with the bad review as they get 1000 of them and he was not going to impacted. Making a bad name for the kfc brand and being proud about it. During my recent visit to KFC, I noticed they have implemented a new system to charge customers an extra €1 for the hard plastic cups as a refundable deposit. However, I found it quite difficult to get the refund. The machine responsible for processing the refund was not working properly, which forced me to wait in line for over 10 minutes to speak to the only staff member available at the customer service desk. This was despite the fact that the restaurant was not busy at the time.

I can't help but wonder if this is a deliberate tactic to make customers give up on reclaiming their €1. Is this a new way to extract more money from customers? I found this experience quite frustrating and...

Worst KFC experience ever. Ordered "Click & Collect" ahead of time. Had to wait another 20 minutes in the shop even though there were only 5 orders before me. The staff were talking and did not care about serving customers. Out of 10 staff members, 1 was working, the rest were talking. No manager to be seen and most of the workers seemed to be lost. When my order was ready on the screen, it was nowhere to be seen and it wasn't called out. After approaching the counter they found it standing cold somewhere in the back of the kitchen. Never again.
