Little Italy — Restaurant in Amersfoort

I recall I've been here before a long time ago with an old friend: back then I wasn't disappointed and that hasn't changed! As per tradition, I've ordered an omelette ('boeren omelette' to be exact!) of which the price is exactly €13,- at the time of writing this, but oh man you get so much worth the money! 🌟 I'm excited to come back for a pasta probably later this week! Will try to review that too. 😁 Also special shout-outs to: the chocolate milk + whipped cream and the cookie that I ordered with it! 🤤

The service seems very friendly and I appreciated the check on whether I enjoyed the food in between! Always great to witness companies asking kindly for feedback. The owner seems really friendly as well! He really deserves a better image on reviews in my opinion. 🧐

The atmosphere seems quite relaxed so far! Though I arrived at about 15:00 and probably left at 15:45; I'm unsure how this lovely atmosphere is otherwise, but I'll be sure to come back! 😁✨

It surprised me that people have such negative reviews about this place, honestly! Hopefully my review will be of help to you people looking for a cosy place with peak-quality food! 🙏

Badly. I was a regular visitor until today - will never come here again. Tuesday, 10 am, the cafe is almost empty (this is important), only 3 people, in the far room there is a woman with a crying baby, so I sat closer to the entrance to the place that I liked with a good view and convenient, since I had a lot of packages. The waiter came up and asked me to change seats since this is a table for 2 or more people (but the cafe is empty, and the distant comfortable room is completely occupied by a crying baby). I don’t know why it was so important for him that I moved, but I just went to a nearby cafe where I can choose a place that is convenient for me. All the more so - it's morning and all the cafes are empty. I will never come back here again. When they had a hard time and I waited 40 minutes for coffee one day - I forgave them anyway. Cosy Italian restaurant featuring pasta, pizza, ribs and more. About 20 two seaters indoor and another 8 seaters outdoor. Right along the main road near the shopping mall. Servers are friendly and speak little English. Warm lightings and retro decorations makes it a great place to dine and chill out. Food can take a while to be prepared, so be patient. Ribs are soft and tender. Sweet sauce could be improved as it is lacking the smoked taste. Side salad had a little too much purple onion which caused it to be overpowering.
