I was invited to this restaurant by my colleagues, as we have an office nearby. I was expecting a typical, casual spot, but I was pleasantly surprised—this is actually a fantastic restaurant! The concept is simple: you can order non-stop, three tapas at a time. The selection is huge, with both hot and cold dishes, including fish, meat, and vegetables.
I absolutely loved it! I think I tried at least nine different tapas, plus dessert—where you can also choose three different options. Everything was delicious: the fish, the meat, the vegetables—each dish was well-prepared and flavorful.
The wine selection is decent, with options from France, Italy, Spain, and more, all at reasonable prices. Expect to spend around €40 per person for a full experience.
The atmosphere is great, and the staff—especially the waitresses—are really friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place and will gladly come back for dinner if I’m in the area again.

Read moreTres is my favorite place in Amersfoort and honestly, it's getting dangerous! If I knew I wouldn't gain weight, I'd probably eat there almost every day - the food is just that good. I keep telling myself I'll try other restaurants but somehow always end up back at Tres.
It's really great for celebrations too. We were there for my friends' wedding party and they were so helpful - you can tell they actually care about making sure you have a good time. The staff are amazing and they're lightning fast (I swear they have superpowers! When we arrived my husband and I were talking about the seat plan, and they asked if we would like to drink something. I've asked for coffee, and turned back to my husband and before finishing my sentence, my coffee arrived!
PS: try the cake batter, so simple...
Read moreFor most part, it is a good restaurant The atmosphere is nice, the sangria is tasty and most of the tapas are very good, but meat part of the menu does not match the rest, because the meat tapas had a lot of issues. Sone were not at all enjoyable with a lack of taste or too much salt. A big big minus is the service. For such an expensive place, the service is very disappointing. Basic tasks of the waitresses to take the empty plates away is lacking, even if the table is full of plates. They don't mind. Towards the end of the night, they completely disregarded us for quite some time so we couldn't order more tapas and drinks. Then, half hour before closing time, they rushed us to order the last round of tapas. For this service you pay a well...
