Riposo — Restaurant in Amersfoort

Got a nice table with view on the St. Joris church place. I was quite hungry and opted for the 4 course menue. It didn't take long and I received the first course, an antipasti plate, delicious. Not long after, the second course, roat beef with pesto and arugula and the main pasta course, pene amatriciana arrived. The two first coursed were already quite big so I couldn't finish the pasta. For the desert there is always some space, I had the choice between limoncello cake, tiramisu and a third one, which I don't remember. I chose the limoncelo cake, accompanied by an espresso. I had also a glas of Primitivo and water. All in all a very pleasant experience. Nice service and the dinner doesn't break your bank. All together at €35.50. I will return, when back...

My favourite part of 3 course meal in the restaurant was limoncello tiramisu, tasty 😊 Apart from that, I am not very happy with the place as the portion were quite small and the food did not have much flavour. Also I am vegerian so I have asked for vegetarian menu but my boyfriend asked for meat version and we both have received the same vegetarian meals. I would expect something else since the menu supposed to be a surprise. The price is okay considering the prices in Netherlands but still I would not recommend going to...

Een aantal jaar geleden schreef ik een review over de lunch (heerlijke broodjes en goed belegd), en die was veel belovend.

Nu was het eindelijk tijd voor avondeten bij Riposo.

Het concept is makkelijk. Je kiest drie of viergangen en de keuken brigade doet de rest, nouja brigade er was welgeteld één chef/directeur van de keuken.

Wij kozen voor vier, want tja we zijn er nu toch. De vleeswaren, kaas, olijfjes en brood waren lekker en yessss vooral dat brood. Vers en goed ciabatta een uitzondering, maar als het er dan is oh zo lekker.

Vooraf zachte kalfs gebeuren met wat salade en weer dat brood. Erg goed allemaal.

Pasta it is met room, pancetta en courgette simpel, maar oh zo lekker. De pasta precies goed gegaard, de saus was hoog op smaak en precies romig genoeg, hulde.

Dessert limocello tiramisu en een vanille cake. De laatste tijd gaat het hier vaak mis, maar dit kon mij bekoren. De tiramisu had iets lichter op smaak gekund, maar misschien komt dat omdat ik amper of geen alcohol drink.

€27,5 voor 4 gangen, het kan dus nog. Prijs kwaliteit zo uitmuntend hoog en de bediening, wat een lieve en kundige mensen, meer van dit alsjeblieft.

Sterren Ren ren ren, voordat het te laat is. Zwak tot matig. U kunt uw geld beter elders uitgeven en of de beleving valt ook tegen. Op de goede weg, maar er zijn grote hobbels wat betreft kwaliteit en of gastvrijheid. Yes wil ik zien. Er is ruimte voor verbetering, maar ik zou zeker terugkomen.
