Our wonderful evening last night at Bar Bouche has prompted me to write my first ever Google Review, it's that special of a place.
To start the interior is like a modern version of your friend's fun funky grandma's house after her year's of vintage furniture collecting and hosting of wild parties.
Even better though is the food, the freshly tapped beers, espresso martinis (nice and strong!) and (natural) wines were all divine. Our group of 11 self-proclaimed foodies shared almost everything on the menu and every had that extra element of care and attention that made the dishes all stand out. The burrata with whole pieces of hazelnut (awesome), the spiced baked sweet potato (so fun), the escabeche and patatas bravas where fully approved by the Spaniards at the table and the pork cheeks so succulent. Really compliments to the chefs for showing their modern flair but also respect for the classics.
Above all though Rutger and Jolanda made it a very special evening. In a city where service is often low on the priorities, they really are a breath of fresh air (and they've got a bit of good banter to boot!). A big thanks and can't...

Visited Bar Bouche with a group of colleagues and everyone loved it. The restaurant is very cozy and gives you the feeling of being in someone’s house for dinner. The menu has lots of delicious options for all dietary needs and we ordered almost everything on the menu. The brioche toast, pork cheeks, fries, and toffee desserts were definitely the favorites at our table. The gamba/shrimp main, lentil bitterballen snack, and burrata starter were close to making the top of the list as well. The service was very friendly and helpful although sometimes forgot a few things but it was easy enough to catch them to request again. Overall a very positive experience that I...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bar Bouche with a friend, and I have to say, I was genuinely impressed. This modern gastronomical café truly delivers. The food was exceptional, with standout dishes like the Oeuf Mayo, which really showcased the chef’s skill in executing a classic dish perfectly. Another highlight was the puffed leek with crispy serrano ham—such a creative and delicious way to elevate vegetables.
We tried a variety of dishes, and everything we had was absolutely delicious. The service was top-notch—friendly, professional, and efficient—making the experience even more enjoyable
With great food, excellent service, and good value, Bar Bouche is definitely a place we’ll be...
