This is a hidden gem in Amsterdam Oost! Not only is the food unique and delicious (daily, selfmade, originial italian recipies that are made with love, and you can taste that!), just sitting down in the cozy atmosphere of Fabio's homy diner to have a chat and connect over daily matters is a wonderful experience.

I am happy to have found this italian oasis in the hectic everyday madness :-)

PS, tip from Fabio: if you order pizza, pick it up yourself, and don't let it be delivered by a random delivery person that doesn't care for the delicacy of the food.

For enjoyers of Italian cuisine this is a must. The panini are delicious, with a wide variety of options, even for vegetarians. The pizza is crispy on the outside, without being dry. The topping is neither too much nor too little, and seems to be of good quality. — Long story short: Tastes like pizza in Italy. You can also get a variety of original Italian foods and drinks (like pasta, parmesan, vine or deserts) here.

Went here to grab a bite for dinner and it was so good! I’ve gone here so many times! Only con is there aren’t many seating spots (4 minimum, i think during the day they have tables outside, but not the evening we went) BUT! it’s always nice to order a take away and sit on a bench at the park that’s a 10 minute or so walk from there. Plus their homemade cake of the day is always really good and the owner is so nice and friendly making the atmosphere feel like a cozy home. Definitely recommend!
