Bar Content — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Great place to relax and enjoy a beer. The staff always greets you with a warm welcome when you enter and are very helpful.

The drink prices are super-low compared to bars only 2 or 3 km east (toward centrum) and there is a decent liquor selection.

There are 2 dartboards that are in great condition and if you don't have your own darts, the bar will provide you with some that are always repaired or replaced if needed.

I have not tried the food yet but have seen other people order food. Its basically your standard Dutch fare. Nothing too fancy from what I've seen.

All-in-all this is a great little pub, with a special neighborhood feel to it....

We went to the bar to grab a few drinks after my friend’s birthday dinner. The barmen, Leroy, heard us congratulating my friend, so all of a sudden he put on a birthday song and brought us all shots. He was closing up soon, so we weren’t able to spend too much time there, but he really made us understand why the bar is named Content. Such a great and happy experience. I am a Chef Baker in Auckland New Zealand and my husband is a Tree Surgeon. We have been home a week from Scotland Amsterdam and Dubai.
