Halal Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Amsterdam

The food quality is,in my opinion,even one step beyond to the other more famous fast food chain,but the thing that makes me happy to come back every time,is the staff...all very young boys and girls who works hard and always smiling and polite...and this is the added value compared to the other fast food,when you walk in the plein 40/45 HFC you’re always recognised and welcome with a smile,they have that passion for their job and that care for others that nowadays it’s becoming hard to find...for what it worth,my honest congratulations guys,you’re amazing...I am in the horeca since 2001,so I think I know what I’m talking about....a big up for plein 40/45...

I was thrilled to try this place, I’m a fried chicken fanatic.

Walking 30 mins there, and the same back home was not worth it at all!

Prices: super expensive. Service: as RuPaul said once “meh”. Flavour: bland to an extent where you’re only eating crispy oil.

Chicken pieces were fried, then somewhat baked in the oven, the meat was super chewy & dry, the skin (which is my favourite) was super dark, and has burnt taste to it, not to mention how oily it was.

The one star is for the sides as they’re readymade that you get from supermarkets, which means nothing can go wrong.

A disappointment that shall never...

We had been travelling for hours and this was the first halal spot we found nearby. I placed an order over 4 hours ago, and after not sleeping for more than 24 hours, we ended up falling asleep waiting. I woke up an hour and a half later and finally got through to someone after half an hour of trying to find the number that works. only to be told that the driver is on their way now. Four hours later. Absolutely ridiculous. Unprofessional, disorganised, and a complete waste of money. Avoid this place...
