For someone who has eaten a lot of Turkish grilled food - especially from the Masters in Turkiye itself - I have been barely to a handful of great Turkish places here in The Netherlands. To be completely honest, I entered this place with skepticism.

Upon entering, I was greeted by the quintessentially warm and inviting Turkish ambiance, complete with a quieter dining area downstairs – a thoughtful touch for those seeking a more subdued atmosphere. The service was notably welcoming. The staff's attentiveness, frequently checking in to ensure everything met our expectations, added a layer of comfort to the dining experience.

The culinary highlight was undoubtedly the mixed grill we ordered for the family. Each element of the dish – the chicken, shish, and kebab – was a celebration of flavors and perfectly browned crusts. The dishes were not only delicious but also generously portioned, easily satisfying the entire family. The unexpected gesture of complimentary baklava, offered due to a longer-than-anticipated wait caused by the restaurant's bustling activity, was a delightful and appreciated finale to our meal.

Worse service ever in an Amsterdam restaurant! We tried this restaurant at the recommendation of a Turkish friend. The waitress mess up our order , we waited more 30’ than other tables for our main menu to come, and this after one customer help us to explain that our food did not arrive bc waitress was not able to speak any English and she never tried to bring someone who does.nevertheless to say she did not apologise for messing up the order or try to be nice.We love Turkish food and like their hospitality, however this restaurant has lack of last one. Food is not bad, but service is horrible, i ordered take away and they asked me to pick it up in 15 minutes, so i was waiting outside and when i came back after 20 minutes i’ve noticed that they just started to cook it for me, when i mentioned the man who was preparing food was superrude almost yelled at me asking to wait without any apologies or any attempt to recover service. Moreover, when they finally gave me my order no one said sorry or even enjoy your meal ot thank you. I speak Turkish so it was definitely nothing yo do with language barrier, just superrude.
