The Address Café & Restaurant — Restaurant in Amsterdam

My recent experience at The Address restaurant was downright awful. What was supposed to be an evening of pleasant dining quickly turned into a nightmare.

I was staying at a hotel around the corner and, since all the other dining spots were fully, I decided to give The Address a chance. This turned out to be a huge mistake.

First of all, the food was extremely shit. The dishes were bland and poorly prepared. My steak was tough and barely edible, while the side dishes were cold and unappealing. Even the drinks were disappointing; my cocktail was watery and lacked any real flavor.

Additionally, the reviews I had read about this restaurant were quite misleading and did not match my experience at all. It is certainly not a good place to dine.

As if the bad food wasn't enough, the evening quickly escalated when a massive argument broke out in the restaurant. The situation got completely out of hand, with tables literally flying through the air. The staff seemed unable to control the situation, creating a very unsafe and grim atmosphere for the guests.

It's clear that The Address not only fails in serving decent food but also in maintaining a safe and enjoyable dining environment. This was undoubtedly the worst dining experience I've ever had, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid...

We had the pleasure of dining at THE ADRESS in Amsterdam and were genuinely impressed from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a contemporary yet cozy interior that strikes a perfect balance between sophistication and comfort. Whether you’re coming for a casual lunch or a more elegant dinner, the ambiance sets the tone just right — inviting but with a touch of refined charm.

The menu offers a diverse variety of dishes that cater to different tastes, from hearty classics to more inventive options that pleasantly surprise the palate. You can tell there’s a real passion behind the kitchen — each plate we tried was well thought out, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. It’s refreshing to see a restaurant that doesn’t just aim to impress with looks but actually delivers on taste as well.

Service was another highlight — friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Our server took the time to explain a few of the house specialties and offered thoughtful recommendations, which we appreciated.
