Istanbul Steakhouse — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I booked a table for 6 adults and 6 children for a small birthday celebration. One guest ordered a beef burger with NO saus as she is allergic to Egg products hence safe side NO saus. Order was taken very badly and when we corrected the staff member and repeated to make sure she doesn't make any mistake as she was very confused, she got offended and started acting rude and very impolite. Order did not come in an orderly manner and drinks were forgotten. My guest started getting health issues because of her beef burger so I asked the staff if they had put saus in the burger. She said NO. you ordered NO saus, so the chef did not put any saus. I looked at the burger and said I am sure there is an orange saus in the burger and my guest is not feeling well. I tasted it and there was saus. So the staff went back to check and the chef had put Hamburger saus in the burger even tough we explicitly told them not to. There was no form of apology, just we will change the burger. My guest didn't trust it any more nor was she feeling well. I asked for the manager but they said there is no Manager or superior. Yet one of the owner was taking really good care of another Turkish friends family table. So disappointing behaviour. Rest of the food wasn't bad but this one mistake really put me off. And the fact the owner/manager didn't care of a guest who is paying more 200 euro for an evening at their restaurant. I really wonder if they will take this...

Ordered a steak dish and asked if it could be medium rare. They served it almost raw and it looked horrible 🤮 i asked for a solution and they put it in the microwave. It tasted like a piece of rubber and i got nauseous from one bite. It could be the mistake of the cook but what was even worse was how the staff replied as if these things happen on a daily basis. I asked if they could remove the steak but they said no and gave me a 10% discount so i ended up paying €30+ euros for something i did not eat and wasn’t worth a penny. terrible service, will...

The food was good. But they mixed up our orders twice. We each (4 of us) ordered a burger with a steak. First they gave us someone else’s order. When our food arrived, two of us got a burger with minced meat. I got rice instead of fries. One of us, who got the minced meat, had only cheese in it, despite the menu specifically stating that every burger is served with lettuce and such.
