Bistrot des Alpes is a restaurant not to be missed in Amsterdam, both for the lovers of Savoyarde food and culture and of amazing food. This place is inspired in the french region of the Haute Savoie. Wood, skis, cute items and the unmistakable scent of cheese. If you are either a lover of the alpine cuisine or wishes to indulge in fine dining and delicious food, do not miss this place. All is, not only authentic, but very high quality. Staff is absolutely amazing! Attentive, polite, extremely knowledgeable of food and wine, and they go beyond to make your experience here remarkable. I have no words to express how staff here is more than great. Whatever your choice is, you cannot go wrong. Escargots, raclette, fondues, deserts, all is amazing. Wine list is carefully selected which includes excellent samples of wines from Savoie. Do not hesitate to ask suggestions from the extremely knowledgeable staff on food and wine. They know what they are talking about. I highly recommend Bistrot des Alpes to all who wish to eat well, have a great evening, be happy and make...
Read moreWe found this lovely little place via tripadvisor, where the restaurant got 9/10 score. We were not disappointed! The atmosphere is very relaxing, the decor has an alpine feel, with a lot of rustic wood panels, and also decorated with interesting antique pieces of various household items. The place is much nicer in real life than on the photos. Young couple owns this lovely place, and you could straight away feel the passion and attention to details. The whole team really wants you to enjoy the alpine experience. We went for the cheese fondue, as every other table had it, and this is something we never tied before: the dish was delicious and very filling!!! We also went for a miniature desserts with nice tea and coffee- amazing! We really had a lovely evening, starting with a friendly welcome, nice wine, super friendly staff and amazing food! Some tables had their Birthday parties, some business meetings, some just wanted to try cheese fondue. I will be back again, as I just can't fault this little place. Well done to...

🔼The appetizers were excellent, well-matched in terms of flavor and combinations. The selection of cheeses and meats, along with the cold starter, was great. The fondue was good quality and pretty tasty.

It was also odd that for 50 euros for two people, the classic fondue only came with bread. We had to order vegetables separately, which I found quite strange.
Overall, we enjoyed the experience. Hopefully, you’ll continue to improve the service and...
