UPDATE 7 MONTHS LATER (July 2021): The customer service has changed tremendously since Iāve been back for the past three weeks. It seems like the owner, not sure though but most likely, a friendly Japanese man who is very customer friendly as well and cares about his customers. Iām glad I gave this another try, positive change now that heās there and the quality of the nigiri is better now than before.
Review February 2021 (2 stars): Iāve been here twice on a Saturday around 12 pm. The lady thatās been there the past 2 times is more concerned about washing the dishes than coming out to the register and letting me pay. She really doesnāt want to be there to come out and help the customer thatās for sure. I mean why wash the dishes right after opening instead of being customer friendly. The onigiriās are too rice-heavy (not enough filling) and the filling of salmon was vert dry. The rice was also wet and salty. Wonāt be coming back soon and I hope for other customers to get...

I went back and asked, to which they replied that there is no expiration date listed because there isn't any. I mean, how can packaged food not have an expiration date? I was quite suspicious of their answer, but that's all they gave me so I left.
So yeah, be mindful of the expiration dates if you're buying packaged food...

Onigiri YA! is inside Japan Market, a small shop that has all kinds of Japanese and Asian products, but we were there for the onigiri! Each of us got 2 onigiri, and we tried a variety of flavors. I got an ume one and a salmon one. The rice was so good and the fillings were tasty and generous! Rice craving: satisfied!
Side note: I was really tempted to buy the onigiri called āWasabi & Cryā but Iām not good with...
